Again, your inability to learn is not everyone else’s problem and no one is under any oblibation to help you in any way… especially when you insult everyone who tries.
It doesn’t matter what anyone says, you find a way to be the victim. Acting like it’s everyone else is part of your act.
THis is ridiculous and innapropriate.
Or the more likely explanation is that you’re a hypersensitive person who projects their own insecurities into the world, that your fragile sense of self is, as I told you, allergic to facts.
While it’s true you shouldn’t/can’t force a comp, playing by what’s offered leaves you open to the algo’s benevolence(or lack of it). To happily take what the game “offers you”, the offers would have to be unbiased. Otherwise you’d never be able to escape the destiny the algo has assigned you.
I’ve tested a couple times just rolling on turn 1, when I noticed I would have almost 0 chance against my opponent. Guess what, got exactly the same cards 2 times! I couldn’t escape my fate to lose my first fight, lol.
Sometimes I wonder, why does the game penalizes you so hard for rolling? By not rolling, you only have the cards they offer you, not the whole pool available. Perhaps for more/easier predictability? You know, for your own sake ;]
Like other people said already:You need to spend more money on the game. Then you will have better luck. Wish i was joking but i am not.
Buying whats offered will make you buy trash. Thats why some people buy trash, they only get offered trash and rolling more wont make it better. They never see good cards so after a while they dont even recognize it as trash anymore. They get used to the trash and then the trash becomes decent in their frame of reference. They wont even mind it after a while.
The algo just killed their game. If you have to match sub 8k players with 14k players all the time then something is wrong. It means that the playerbase is extremely thin and the mmr system is messed up.
That’s not luck. That’s directly power. Choice is power and the pass gives double the choice of heroes and I DON’T think those heroes are balanced (e.g. it’s very hard to not be top 4 with “darkmoon tickets” hero).
Just for some insight. Depending on what is offered to you in a specific lobby. It is sometimes correct on turn 1 to take a 1 cost spell like “apples” then roll and grab another 1 cost spell. Take your damage then tier up on turn 2 and take the damage and then on turn 3 play “apples” and create a far superior board. Taking a few damage on turn 1-3 is not a big deal if it gets you into a better position on turns 3 or 4.
Oh, so that’s what those guys that start the game having empty boards and many cards on hand are up to? Thanks for the insight!
Regarding not being a big deal to lose the first rounds. It can get pretty hairy if you started with a low armor hero and are put against high armor ones and Patchwerk. Or face the dude killing his beast to hit you for 4 and that kind of stuff.
This game is like going to the Casino. If you dont pay or stream youre going to have a rough time. It takes no skill. watch kripp at around 7500mmr and dogdog at 13000mmr. every month kripps at 7500 to 8000 and dogdog’s at 13000. nothing randoms its a program. kripp calls out the bs and dogdog thinks its the best game and everythings perfect. still a fun game. just dont take it seriously. blizz employees tell me im wrong. go!
First, FaceTime means 7500 BGs rating. MMR is hidden.
Second, anyone at 7500 BGs rating doesn’t exactly suck. It’s roughly the equivalent of being in Legend, just not being in top Legend. Top 10%, but not quite leaderboard status.
I doubt it. Kripp isn’t that stupid.
Dog is kinda weird. He’s almost an idiot savant type character, being very good at some things and jaw dropping stupid in others. But the things he’s good at matter more for climbing BGs than the things he’s dumb at. This triggers the unsuccessful tryhard.
Legend is 6000 according to the Devs. 7500 needs a lot more try-harding to get; near 10K and above I’m told most of them must go FIRST in most games to climb; that’s brutal.
Nonsense; the RNG of the game is a common variable between opponents; that means given enough games it becomes a zero sum game (albeit an issue if you play little).
You know that Kripp is a notorious smurfer in BG’s?
Not usually. Around 10K a 4th will still get you some points but many times it’s a 0. The big influencer though as you get that high is the rough rating of the players in your lobby. If you have a couple of players in your lobby close or at your rating a 1st-4th will pay out much better. If your lobby is just you at high rating and everyone else much lower then yes 1-4 is giving out less points and 4th is generally negative. For those at the extreme top like Jeef and Babbit they need to keep getting first because everyone is far below there rating most of the time so only 1st or maybe 2nd gives positive points. This is essentially why it is so hard to get extremely high rating because you need more players at that rating in order to keep going higher. If there are none it’s almost impossible to climb.
That’s the main reason why armor adjusting is the best way to balance out a hero with a good Hero Power. You are basically gambling that you can play a better early game then the rest of the lobby. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. My advice for anyone below 8K is to pretty much always take the high armor hero in the selection and play that. It gives you more room to experiment and make mistakes but learn. If you get real familiar with a hero then go for that but still be cautious if it’s low armor.
At higher rating the heroes have different armor IE: they give you less on a bunch of mid range heroes because players know how to use them effectively.
This meta in particular is extremely punishing to players who are inexperienced with a low armor hero and get themselves into trouble early in the lobby and take an early 15. This is why i advise taking the higher armor hero until you get your early game figured out. A hero with single digit armor taking a 15 early means you are going to struggle to not go 7th or 8th.
A small piece of advice in this meta. Just like the above when i discussed buying early spells. There are many times in this current meta where going to tier 2 on two is incorrect. It’s better to wait and build a big board to protect yourself until the first trinket. You can play to get back on curve on turn 5 but have something established on board for possibly a better trinket selection and solid tempo.
sad. why do you care about a random post? relax bud. i watch patterns not my feeling. kripps sees the silliness and you call it crying. good wow player skill. but all the sudden he cant master a silly card game? come on bud.
