Someone left the game, but he stayed in first place and no one could play him. In the end it was just me and someone else (+the “dead” guy). When I won and should have been first place, I received second place and the guy that left was still in the top spot

The same occurred for me in my recent N’Zoth game. Turn 16 AFK left and I was given no option to fight. Instead I received 2nd place and he remained in 1st.

I think I also just experienced this. It was turn 16. I was in second place, head-to-head with first place (no one else was alive). I won the matchup, but didn’t kill first place. The game suddenly ended and I placed second.

Same happened to me, would have gotten two wins, instead got second places. The hero just locks up at the top and stays there, doesnt play or do anything but win 
I knocked out the guy who ended up winning turn 8 but his ghost would not take damage and he won first place without a team
This happened to me so many times now… Its so frustrating!
It always happens when we are only 2 left in the lobby… the game suddenly ends itself granting me second place when I am supposed to beat the other player.

Happened to me for the 3rd time, done with battlegrounds til its fixed, it’s great you still get like 300 rating up but it’s 3 times i’ve won with mr biggles and no achievement. Boycotting Battlegrounds til its fixed. it’s been like a week or more and happens 1 out of 5 games guaranteed.
Same thing happened to me. With two opponents left, I defeated one of them, and then the game ended and gave me second place. I still had 19 health left. My battlegrounds stats page shows a second place finish.

Reported 7+ days ago and still happening… I feel this is a really unacceptable glitch to leave unresolved. I don’t even see the point of playing the game with things like this happening.
Just happened to me as well. I knew something was up when three were left and two of us played back to back. Also, what kind of customer support is “Make a discussion board post if you have a problem.”
Adding to the next game after this one: Playing as Bigglesworth and knocked an opponent out, but they remained in game (dead) while I didn’t get to use my (very terrible) hero power.
Third Update: Game is constantly glitching during battlegrounds…more than normal. Just lost me a game.
