Battleground Duo's

The -50 rating isn’t good enough for early quitters… too many people quitting right after que, also players queing and not playing at all should be band. This is very unsportsmanlike to join a game and force defeat by not playing but continuing to stay in the game.

If people are leaving right at the due than sure give them the penalty, but due the lack of balance in the mode if you run into a team that has the QBs or Dragon build than you’re done. There is NO WAY to catch up to those builds so I find it horrible that I need to wait around just to lose. If you play more the 5 rounds there shouldn’t be a penalty.

qb isn’t the meta… and quitting after 5 rounds is a loser attitude… I have beaten many players with mixed hands. The most powerful hands I have seen played were actually Undead and Demons.

Well, your experience differs from mine and most of the games I play QB’s are destroying most lobbies. So jog on.

Even if you run into early builds you think you won’t beat, if your team is solid, you can stillget second. Leaving earns you nothing. With all the randomness and leavers, it’s so hard to make any progress. Just get hard stuck at 6k.

There is NO reason to stay around if you know you’re going to lose and as far as losing MMR points give me a break. Who cares about leveling in a mode like this. I’m currently at 5k and really don’t care about my MMR. This is a casual game for me and if I know I am going to lose then I leave, why waste time staying in a game just to get beat.

Not to mention if you get an over bossy partner in the game telling you what to do every move lol.

You are the reason we need some kind block system. “Who cares about leveling in a mode like this.” Me, I do. It’s the only HS I play now. and QB hasn’t been the big winner in at least a week. They changed something.

If an AI bot set to the current player rating can take over for the teammate that leaves it would help.

They are still crushing in my games, and if you care about leveling then find a team mate.

QBs with the murloc that triggers battlecries at end of turn is the most powerful board possible. Only thinking beating it is a one shot cheese of golden hag + leeroy + lucky rolls on a reborn ghastcoiler or multiple reborn magnanimooses with a partner with a huge board. Team 5 really needs to tone down how absurd some of these comps are (but they won’t).

Dude you came to my thread and made a comment… why don’t you “jog on” dunce.

You posted on a public forum and are mad at responses . . . lol. Welcome to the internet.

There should be a very big penalty.

Instead of telling players to find a teammate, it would be nice if “players” like you played SOLO and that way you could leave the game as soon as you think you won’t be first.

Your opinion should not ruin the time of a random person who had the misfortune of running into you.
Do you leave the game after the fifth round ? It’s not enough to lose ONLY 50 points.

It’s probably to guide you because you don’t know how to play.

I hope I never be with someone like you !
I can’t wait for Blizzard to create a blacklist in game.

Frankly since I don’t care about MMR they can make it as big as they want.

The chances of us actually getting into a game together are SO rare I wouldn’t worry about it.

As far as someone marking what I need to do every turn, let me clarify that statement. There is a difference of suggesting a move and marking when I need to upgrade, use my hero power, buy minions, and so on. When someone does EVERY TURN ON EVERY MOVE then it’s annoying. But pointing out something or a build something like that then I am all for it.

The funny thing about this whole conversation is that most of the time I stick around to see if there is a way to win, but once you run into team with MASSIVE minions and has gotten the golden roll than why waste your time. That without even considering if your partner has anything going either. I mean you get what . . . . 15 points for second place, LOL.

Lastly, I understand you all take this mode seriously but I frankly if you all are looking to level up your MMR and get to the top than you really should play solo or find a teammate that has the same views and goals for the mode as you do. To get upset for casual gamers like myself who play a game or two between meetings or on the couch at night you shouldn’t expect so much from us. Not to be rude but your MMR isn’t a real concern.

It’s not just a question of “MMR”, but a question of principle, I like to FINISH my game (sometimes I experiment with a strategy).
Additionally, sometimes it can help complete a daily or weekly quest and obtain gold coins.

Why, you don’t play SOLO, even if the “chances” of us meeting are slim, there are surely other people like you.

Fair enough, but I like this mode so I am going to keep playing it and on your point about quests . . . you can still stay in the match and complete the quests you need as that’s not dependent on your partner in the game.

But anyways, we all play the way we like and what suits us. I understand your playing style and sorry mine doesn’t match yours. Happy gaming!

OP is clearly the one losing the games for the other person who then just quits to avoid watching a dumpster player do his turn at 1 action per minute

This is a simple assumption for which you have no proof.

Your interactions with this thread tell me you’re just like OP and waste other people’s time not even playing to your best, or if what you bring is your best, you should simply play something else like marvel snap that, well, doesn’t have any actual sustained playerbase
