Battlecry and deathrattle on the same card: too much?

I personally don’t believe this should exist.
I wondered how others feel?

i don’t mind it. often they’re the same effect anyways or a reverse effect.

I feel like it gives too much value generally, but I’m not a card designer, and so I’m just looking for reasonings.

That depends of the effect, something like cube have battlecry and deathrattle with no problem

It is usually for cards who you want the effect to happen but not at once.
So you make half happen when you play and half after it dies.

It is kinda of a weird design space but hearthstone really isn’t game balancing friendly since numbers on the cards are very low.
So you have to take any oportunity.

There are other gimmicks to use this but the most Common use is that one.

Depends on the battlecry n deathrattle i guess, along with the cost n stats on the minion
