i told my wife when i started playing i’d totally main druid if we got hamuul runetotem as a hero eventually. (he was the exact example i used. XD) i said this at the beginning of darkmoon faire when i started playing. the class had everything i wanted except i didn’t want to play as malfurian. obv i’m most excited about the druid cards, as well.

Well Hamuul is someone else, but this could be his Brother I would Assume, cause I don’t think Hamuul went by Guff… I could be remembering wrong but I don’t think Guff was in WoW.

he’s the pre expansion bundle hero portrait.

Playing 1 or 2 innervates with 1 or two more nature spells (e.g. soul of the forest), this will create huge and sticky buffs on the board.

Ah I don’t normally look at that to avoid tempting myself - plus I’m fine with my Malfy pic’s - pure F2P Druid lol never got the pre expac bundle lol. My bad - but always welcome more Druid Brothers (and sisters).

Remember it only will buff other minions cause it says “Give another friendly minion +2/+2” - so good for wide or just kinda a 2 minion board and can be seen as “go with taunt” making them thicker to get through.

I see there’s a couple other new druid reveals too in the deck library

Anyways for this one… now the non-damaging spells marked as nature make sense.

While not all spells are marked nature, a lot of them are, and they provide enough variety in effects (innervate and wild growth for ramp, treant summoning spells for tokens, mark of the wild for single target buff) that druids can deck build and respond to various situations there.

This gives an alternate way to grow a board via spells without gibblering or the rotating mountseller (yeah that’s not used lately, but it once was). In absense of anything else known, violet teacher might be brought out (inb4 inevitable comparisons to pally’s super version)

This also is just a Buffer not a “wide board generator” so it’s unfair to think of it like Gibb - I say it would be closer to Priest End of Turn Buff minions but just giving up cards in hand for more hits. Which can be a Good and Bad thing. but a more easy way to get a minion to be sticky or just buff a minion with like Robes of Protection Minion board harder for target spell to touch your minions. Something to play with for sure. But I am burnt out on Agro Druid things.

True enough. Allow me to rephrase: it allows growing a board if you already have a board, whereas gibblering and mountseller can grow from naked board.

Another difference is that the growth of the board can go tall instead of just wide.

are innervate and bloom nature spells ?

Rare · Spell · Core · Gain 1 Mana Crystal this turn only.

Innervate is indeed a Nature, lightbloom I would assume so?

only 3 card don’t have a “spell tag” we know of in druid and that is Pounce, Power of the Wild and Feral Rage - Unless the choose 1 effect are nature, can’t be seen as of right now? Which is weird as we do have minion that break the spell into the 2 forms so…

WTF a Druid-only Totem?

Ooooh.

Runetotem is a Tauren tribe. They’re all druids predominately.

This card looks crazy good if any form of Tempo Druid is a thing.

are eclipse spells nature too?

We don’t know yet.

In WoW, they actually divide Druid spells between Nature (usually Sun- or obviously plant-focused) and Arcane (usually Moon- or Star/Astral-focused).

If they follow the WoW model, then Solar Eclipse might be Nature and Lunar Eclipse Arcane.

But they might also just simplify things and make most Druid spells Nature school.

I believe so, yes.

Actually we kinda “do” they said Druid just mainly has Nature spells. It can be found in this video.

“They tend to have access to lots of nature spells”

Hopefully they’ll update Pounce and etc to be wild… the fact they aren’t classed yet is really “weird” def when they say all cards will have a spell school.

Not all spells are going to be assigned to spell schools. They have specifically said that. Same as not all minions have a particular type.

If it’s in the Core set or FitB and it doesn’t have a spell school assigned, then it’s not going to be part of a school, at least for the immediate future.

It’s anything outside of Core and FitB that we don’t know yet, unless they’ve specifically mentioned it somewhere.

So, both Eclipse spells could certainly be Nature. But even if they assigned things like Lunar Eclipse, Moonfire and Starfire to Arcane (as their equivalents are in WoW), it would still be true that most Druid spells are Nature. “Most,” of course, doesn’t mean the same as “all.”

show me where they said - cause they clearly stated.

Magical Spell Schools are a permanent addition to Hearthstone, which will be applied retroactively to many previously released spells, adding synergies and a new layer of depth throughout your Collection! Spells in Standard and Wild can now have a tag from one of seven different schools:

They clearly will have 1 of 7 - They make no mention of “They could have 1 of 7 or remain un tagged”

Maybe try reading the paragraph you just reposted. They say MANY, not ALL.

Ok and tell me how Power of the Wild is Physical? It’s summon a panther - or Buff’s.

And Druid Shapeshift which can be Argue as Nature power. So Again. They slowly updating the class of cards - but if they DID had a option for non class card, why They don’t have a option for “None” in the filter? Seems abit weird - Still waiting for this Feral Druid they said Druid going be know for removal - seeing abit more Taunt Support then Feral. Are the Dev even keeping their story straight , probly not cause “changing” last second and they forgot they change.
