Ban celestial alignment from wild

celestial alignment needs to get banned from wild formant, cancels out any hope of control decks, and turns the game into RNG fest hoping you’ll draw their king togwaggle or any other shenanigans, the problem is not in lady anacondra or guff or anything else, ban celestial alignment.

today i’ve had a match vs druid, that played that on turn 4 (after ramping using Biology Project, Flipper Friends, Floop’s Glorious Gloop then Celestial Alignment into Lady Anacondra and drawing the rest of their deck for nothing, and playing Togwaggle).

not the first time and not the last time until they ban celestial alignment (not to mention this card will get in the way of any printed card).

the problem is definitely lady anacondra

lady anacondra wouldn’t be a huge issue without celetisal alignment, card games shouldn’t have a (all cards cost 1).

Yeah, I’m just not a fan of the design of this card honestly… every time it gets played it’s part of some janky combo and the play patterns feel similar to old armageddon/smokestack decks, which I did not enjoy when they were all the rage in MTG 25 years ago.

I thought wild games ended long before anyone could get to playing that card?

I don’t see how anyone could think that a mode with all the cards and broken combos there would last into a grind out your deck game. Anyone going that long would just have cards that can endlessly refill their deck until the hard game turn limit is reached.

not when celestial alignment is a druid card, mana ramps, mana cheats armor gains etc are abundant (you can just check the deck list and see how much it is).

i’m regularly legend in eu wild, you can check my rank even now, i assure you that celestial alignment will be banned from wild, the question is when and i’d like to be sooner than later, i’m not the only one thinking so apparently, zeddy is backing me up in this and i know others who are familiar enough with the meta know this.

this is worse than infinite jade idols back in the day and that card ruined control matchups completely before geist was printed.

in this case you simply don’t matter once they play that card.

I can say with 100% clarity that Druid’s who rush the Guff hero are a million times more annoying. But Alignment decks are a close second

True but Alignment is for sure a poorly designed card.

it’s not so simple, they are both problematic but each due to his own reasons, for example if you made guff 7 mana or his hero power would be gain an empty mana crytal etc you could work with him (even make max mana 15 like my friend proposed)
with celestial alignment you don’t get that, make it cost 9 or 10? wouldn’t be enough, make it so that cards costs 2? worst for your opponent than yourself.
card needs to be removed pronto, also celestial is a none legendary so people can run 2 copies of it and get it more consistently.
