Ive been playing egg hunter around 4k legend all month.

If they buff it to 4 mana, it could feed families in standard. I cant wait. That said it might also destroy wild lol.

Looks like Mage is finally getting real buffs( or mana increases that pass for buffs hard to tell this days).
Warrior weapon buffed again they are going hard on the sandwich deck.

I want to see what they will do with Maestra, as for the nerfs in wild Rogue eats some as per tradition and Sor Apprentice gets nerfed again lmao.

Probably buffed to 4 but only discount by 4.

Smeet, where you at? They’re buffing your deck lol

Water color artist buff? Can probably incorporate DJ manastorm now.

Ill take that! The faster you get the discounted beasts, the quicker you can stabilize with hollow hound/king plush

Yeah… they are probably fixing the awkward turn 3 the deck has now. I imagine watercolor will be a 3 mana 3/3 or 3/4 after the change, which is kind of a big deal. Still won’t be able to tsunami until 7, but it’ll make the curve smoother.

They are also killing Sonya rogue (that deck dies if ANYTHING happens to tidepool pupil) which also probably kills some of the meta shifts it was causing.

It will be interesting to see where things land.

I hope the pupil nerf is 2 mana and not a random card because that would be brutal for my dk deck.

We can go back to your original bsm deck with lifeguard now since the tourist also gets a buff.

If DJ goes to 8 mana, he should go in as well. Even 9 mana is good. 9 mana is DJ + 2 spells in 1 turn.

They are nerfing the two things i thiught they were gonna nerf! I was playing today and was thinking if they just hit doomkin i would be okay with dragon druid and its package and pupil needed to be hit and i play rogue and say this.

And yay! They buffing rogues legendaries probably cause class will be dead after tidepool nerf.

Yeah, he has the potential to be better than Kalecgos if he is buffed.

It’s good that I do not expect anything out of Blizzard then they can disappoint me only so much

Tidepool is certainly a good hit for a nerf as this card is crazy OP.
Doomkin is also deserving a nerf but I doubt i’s going to change much for most people about how annoying Druid is to face.

The usual effect of buffs is meh unless they make a card OP. Case in point: Ryecleaver. It’s hilarious they are persistent in making this meme a reality, let’s see how much they fail this time.

Hopefully buffs will make Rogue legends more viable. The rest of the cards are either whatever or I do not recognize them so we will see.

My guess is they make the sandwich cost 3 so you can turn 5 equip and swing
Turn 6 all you can eat, swing, sandwich

Which brilliant mind predicted that banning the Whelp would trigger a slow cycle, eventually revealing Doomkin as the real problem card, leading to its inevitable nerf?

I recall that insightful individual also suggesting that since Doomkin was bound to be nerfed, it would be smarter to do it upfront, avoiding two nerfed cards in the same class later on.

I imagine the only reason they’re going after the ryecleaver again is just embarrassment at how bad the first ‘buff’ was. The problem is the idea behind the card is bad so it can only ever be bad… If you can complete the gimmick of dumping a bunch of stats early on the board consistently and win with it then it becomes a win now highroll card but if it comes out too slow (like it does now) then the stat gimmick dies to twisting nether…

So either they buff it to be too good where it wins early and then they have to nerf it back to where it is now which is too slow to do anything because everyone can just remove all the stats by the time it goes off.

Perhaps the buff alongside food fight gives warrior/hunter some casino highroll recruitment type deck but those decks are usually the worst hearthstone has to offer.

Dj manastorm is kind of fun but if they buff him to 8 then he just becomes another boring turn 9 OTK deck (which is still slow compared to the other OTK decks) but the game (and mage) did not need another OTK deck.

Hopefully hunter can come out of this with something fun but I hate how they continually push mana cheat decks. Get a better idea than mana cheat already.

If that’s all they’re doing to balance Wild, they’re still not playing their own game. What a joke.

Druid wasn’t bad this patch but it wasn’t devastating given how good at least 5 other decks were, so this nerf will just kill the deck entirely (don’t be surprised if you see ~0% play at the top ranks).

And isn’t Zarimi AND Overheal probably better for about a week now; I’m not going to call this patch terrible because it’s probably not but come on; it will probably produce tyrants.

Excited to see the fun Rogue cards get buffed. Been playing them since the xpac came out and right now the benefit you would get from the discovers does not make up for how punishing playing them kills your tempo

If you’re ahead, its a clear opportunity for your opponent to stabilize. If you’re behind, you probably cant even get them out of hand xD

The Pack rogue deck stood out in the Heroic Tavern Brawl as the best Wild deck, so make sense the nerfs and SA, I hope they raise it to 7 mana.

I got a feeling SA is going back to 2 mana and then changed to “but not less than (1)”.

That’s the nerf they should have done years ago.

Contrary to what I’ve heard from the forums about their OPness, no paladins nerfs again :joy:

Rogue getting buffs might even benefit from pallies using tourist :joy:

If they do what they should have already done a while ago and make DJ an 8 cost card. Mage immediately gets a huge boost in power to their decks.

Watercolor is already a very good 4 drop. How do you buff that card without breaking it??

Welcome to Hearthstone the 2024 edition. In case you missed it this is exactly how they want decks to play out right now.
