Balance changes next week!

No, I have neither said nor implied that as fairly basic reading comprehension skills would tell you. The cards that are nerfed will be refunded, as it always has been

As for the citation, it’s literally in the 6th comment. The entire statement from Blizzard is quoted there with a link for you to follow to confirm it is actually from them

Not “intentional” of course but negligent. A lack of play testing at the very least. We should expect better from Blizzard.

Hunter is pretty OP as well. Win rates on some of their decks are well above 50% and the combinations should be looked at as well.

That’s because they’ve ignored the priest class for a full year and a half.

Great, what are they doing to buff priest though? The class has been in the bottom half of the board for over a year and is currently abysmal.

#1 Shaman 56.2%
#2 Hunter 50.9%
#3 Warrior 48.6%
#4 Warlock 48.2%
#5 Paladin 47.6%
#6 Mage 47.1%
#7 Rogue 47.0%
#8 Druid 42.9%
#9 Priest 37.1%

Combo Priest was Tier 1/2 for a vast majority of both SoU metas. What are you on about?

Moreover, this is a thread on upcoming nerf patches for Galakrond Shaman. No need to hijack it and turn the topic into something completely unrelated >.>

From my experience with all the other classes, nothing but shaman feels on another level. Galakrond zoo is alright but nothing spectacular. Rogue is fun and versatile but very slow and weak vs aggro. Warrior’s makes you hit minions with hero so you take face damage and cant stack up armor. Priest can wipe your board but is weak to fill board so its balanced. Shaman is just so much better I cant understand how it passed testing as it is. Must have been some strong herbs in their pipes.

That’s because all a priest knows how to do is steal the other players cards. If priest tried to play a more honest game instead of being such a thieving so and so all the time then might actually get somewhere with it.

Easy there. Your tin foil hat might fall off!

Thief priest is my favorite deck to play. Ive had so many insane games with it which sometimes makes losing even fun. Don’t knock it until you try it.

Thief Priest hasn’t been good or remotely popular in years. What Rank/format are you even playing where a majority of Priest players are copy/thief variants and not Resurrect/Control/Combo/etc?

That’s what I mean though. You can’t play a new inventive priest deck because they just suck and so, it’s always back to combo. I wish they would get rid of inner fire so that they could do some more inventive things with the class. That card is holding them back.

Too late, already dusted them. I just got to disliking them so much, couldn’t imagine myself playing one at all. I can beat shamans all day long but all I ever seem to get is priests and I can’t play against them at all unless with aggro paladin but I’m not using that currently.

The very last game yet another thieving priest with galakrond. Just stealing my cards all game right to the very end until running out of cards. With aggro paladin I can beat them most times quite easily. Currently trying out handbuff paladin though. This is all ranked standard on ladder.

actually they probably are. There is no reason why game designer would define cards and then let balance to another team. It would be counter productive as well, because the second team would have to learn all the new card, meta and stuff.

Or was it humor  ?

I didn’t say design and balance team are different.

I said marketing decisions ("you guys pull out a set that’s much stronger than current. " / “We’re taking X much flak, deploy a balance patch next week”) and developers.

The balance changes are supposed to be arriving any minute now. I honestly hope it’s not a bunch of common and rare cards being nerfed to avoid refunding dust. Shudderwock needs to go to Wild where he will fit right in with Patches the Pirate.
