wanted to try odd warrior with baku back in standard but after the start of game animation the hero power doesn’t change. remade the deck multiple times and tested with other classes to make sure it wasn’t a me issue. thoughts?
Just tested it against the inkeeper and it worked fine

I don’t have fizzle, trial by fire and odyn do I couldn’t test the whole list and it worked fine
Try replacing trial by fire and odyn. Since they were originally 6 and 8 mana they may be still considered even for some reason.
If so then that’s where the bug resides

I shudder to think of the convoluted underlying game code that would allow such a thing…
havent tried with odyn but baku works with trial
tried a deck of baku and all 1 drops and still didnt work. i also intentionally added a 2 cost to an odd deck to verify the animation doesn’t play if the deck isn’t odd and the game started as normal. so the game thinks the odd decklist i posted earlier is valid but it just doesn’t upgrade the hero power for me. i may be cursed.
Zeddy said that Baku does not work with Boulderfist Ogre skin. Maybe you could try changing your hero skin.

Strangely enough I thought about skins but the 3 random ones I got when playing worked.
Looks like the problem could be cause by legendary skins having specific interaction with the hero power
Would be worth a shot to test with other ones like C’Thun but i don’t have any
