At what cost would you run cruise captain lora?

Since I don’t much enjoy playing the game most of my fun comes from deck building now.

One question I love asking is at what mana cost would a terrible card be playable. Obviously Lora is pretty terrible, the pool of locations is itself not amazing, and the fact it’s two locations theres a good chance it will lock your own board for at least a turn or two.

So the question is, at what cost would this be playable?

I’m thinking of it was 2 mana, and say a 2/3, it might at see play but it certainly is still not a great card.

It wouldn’t be terrible if it was cheap. E.g. at 3 it would be played in all slow decks without a big board. At 4 or 5 it seems fair; but it has the potential to be OP; can it summon the priest location that copies all the yoggs?

If yes, 6 might be fair for a slow control deck.

Players aren’t always right at netdecking.

4 cost maybe. But even then the randomness can come back n bite you as you noted considering the overall pool of locations, so maybe even if her cost was reduced i’d likely still only use for a fun side deck.

When we discuss things like that in general (“terrible unplayable cards”), we shouldn’t forget there’s not only Constructed.

Cards of that sort are often adding flavor to Arena or Discovers or other random stuff in the game.

It would have to be something like a 0 mana 10/10… most of the time the locations are useless and take up 2 board spaces so they’d have to compensate by way overstating the minion itself or redesign it to a discover function.

As someone who didn’t fully read any text in this thread, I would like to recommend that LadyDeadpool and Carnivore have different avatars. I thought someone was replying to themself, and I am easily confused. End of off-topic request

They need to add like 50 new avatars

She just needs rush to be a viable option

You’re joking. At 0 mana it’s an instant include in all slow and mid-speed decks without even the 10/10.

You know there’s a priest location that can copy all the Aman’Thuls and Yoggs right?

Half the board is like that because the avatars are limited and set from Blizzard.

E.g. a regular posts from a certain Rogue, and then I think all rogues are him.

Yeah 4 or 5 sounds fair enough to me, anything that can get forge of wills and draw a battlecry minion location in the same turn should be around the cost of the locations themselves. While on the subject of questioning a legendary’s value for his cost-
I’m tempted to make a thread asking people their thoughts on Travelmaster Dungar, I know this guy’s gotta be SOMEONE’S win condition. But outside of the trailer blurb I haven’t seen anyone try building around him

There was a druid deck running around shortly with that abomination, apparently as a counter to BSM

Look, it’s on HSguru as “Dungar Druid”:

Eh I’ll try it out and see how far it gets. I can already guess the Titans are probably one of the lucky 3. Keep your ear to the ground for anyone else with a good dungar grand reveal for me will ya? I don’t care if I get labeled as the underated miniset legends guy, this is a puzzle I actually wanna see put together- if anyone can figure out the pieces that is

Np, but I highly doubt the deck is gonna get any better at this point in expansion xDD

The deck is a niche counter designed to tilt players who abuse broken classes and tilt players who don’t xDD

It certainly looks fun to be on the correct side of that 4/20 taunt minion, don’t get me wrong xdd

Also, LOL, just realized xDD 4-20 hahahahah nice, Blizzard, nice!

I’m lost, aren’t we talking about the Legendary that summons two random Locations?

I think the card would be extremely strong at 4 mana.
At 2 mana, it would be completely insane and an auto-include in everything.

Interesting, but it looks VERY bad winrate against the pain locks and pirates, and I wouldn’t touch it seriously based on that alone.

Yeah I got farther just throwing dungar in the shudderblock deck for ez Al Akir + other chargers summons and Headless Handbuff for more reinforcements. I get what druid was tryna do with that deck with his titan but it didn’t feel like it accomplished much besides a mana refill. Course I’m still new to playing druid myself, all these resources but no idea what to spend it on. Kinda funny that all the miniset legends I end up showboating into popularity is usually a result of me stuffing them into a deck without thinking or even trying to build around it, expect a psychopaths guide to Dungar and maybe Replicator-inator in the near future.
