[asking feedback] italian localization reports

Hello everyone, I am an italian player and I decided to open this thread to raise awareness about the localization errors of Hearthstone in Italian.

Hearthstone cards in Italian have always had a few errors here and there, but since the Festival of Legends the quality of the localization has dropped significantly. Emblematic is the case of the spell Spotlight, which was reported twice because after the first report the text was still wrong.

Another example of a serious error is the first version of Noble Minibot.

After reporting directly to the developers these cards have been fixed, but there are certainly others that we have yet to found.

THE REPORTS

I created a Google Sheet where we collect localization reports written in English. I have already created a thread on the Italian forum but I am also posting here on the English forum to increase visibility and also to ask for feedback from native English speakers: do the reports as they are make sense to you? Is the structure of the spreadsheet understandable?

I am a total amateur when it comes to spreadsheets, so feel free to critique it. Thanks for your patience.

I’m not Italian, I’m French and we have the same issues regarding localization related reports… There were specific localized forums in the past but they’re gone. You did an amazing job with these spreadsheets, I hope you will be heard for the sake of Italian speaking community.

A small but happy update: Nicholas “DeckTech” Weiss replied to me on Twitter and after a few days he told me that the localization people will be doing some interventions prompted by our reports!

I am really very grateful for the openness of the developers :blush:

I will continue to mantain these reports and I plan to make some minor improvements, so if you have any feedback it’s more than welcome!

With the last patch a lot of errors have been corrected! :partying_face:

I have continued to update and expand the spreadsheet, if you have any feedback I would be very grateful.
