Everyone else…draw infinite cards, ramp mana, lifesteal/armor infinite, lasting effects infinite
Mage…squish minions, random never hit anything important BS no way to “cheat” anything…
What are you talking about ,Mage cards are great its just that you have to play Druid lmao.
But have no fear they will soon nerf those Mage cards that are breaking the game in another class.
Then you can lose your marbles.

Well…
Spell mage don’t suck performance wise.
It still sucks to exist because it always make the rest of the class turn into poop but most not even care.
Go with the flow is a piece for what mage really lacks as a class.
Ramp up it’s damage when the class has board.
Elemental mage t1 because of Lamplighter. And it gets armour (Sleet Skater) to assist the counter-play.

Been playing it for several days now. No board clear, all squishy minions, not particularly “fast”, basically a single win condition that requires 4-5 cards all in hand. Relies heavily on “dmg random targets” to survive (good luck with that).
The answer is no…maybe bronze/silver, but it loses to virtually everything unless you draw god tier.
Tried messing around with some home brew big spell mage with some of the new cards. It’s cool when you get a really good draw and cast Sunfire on turn five and get something good but it’s RNG. Imo too slow to reliably beat aggro and not fast enough or strong enough to beat druids and warriors in the late game.
On a side note, I like playing the Yogg cards for the memes but with all the low cost spells that got added, that has a much worse pool to pull from.

Elemental mage is a grate deck right now insaine damage from hand.
Your either just bad at the game or high.
What are you talking about, just ran my alt mage account to d5 yesterday with ele mage and plan on doing legend today, it is good

You should probably try elemental mage… it is complete cancer. Can flood the board turn after turn and then OTK before turn 10 pretty easily.
I feel like Mage is in a better spot than some other classes.
This is priest syndrome really.
The same way some priest players can’t play anything that isn’t control some mage players can’t play anything that isn’t spell based.
