In one of the messages for the waiting animation, it says arena and ranked game modes count for the gold animation portrait, but this isn’t the case.
Was it intended? Can they remove the message if not, thanks.
Arena wins count for a golden portrait. This was part of the changes to the game from (IIRC) the Year of the Dragon patch. The changes are not retroactive, however, so any Arena wins before the Year of the Dragon began do not count toward golden hero portraits.
Yesterday I got golden Mevivh for arena so it surely works and counts both Arena and Ranked (the number shown in deck choosing screen is showing total).
