Got 5 wins. I’ve heard the average is around 3 wins so not bad. Excited to see my rewards. 1 pack, 50 gold and 20 dust…
So after 5 wins I won exactly 20 dust (minus the 150 it costs to get in).
Did I get unlucky or are the arena rewards really that bad?
Yep the reward are that bad. That’s about average for 5 wins. Maybe you get an extra 10-20 gold or a common card if you rolled that instead of dust for that one bag. About 4 wins average would be more value than just buying packs if you value packs as 100 gold and care about packs. But if you care about just playing more arena and don’t value the guarenteed pack as 100 gold you would need 7+ wins average to be gold positive.
Yea that’s crazy to me but it’s all good. I’ll just blow through free tickets and leave it at that.
Better rewards than getting Legend instead of Diamond 5. One extra pack is guaranteed, and you may get way more on top of that.
But it’s obviously the most “microtransactions”-based format, only good for f2p for the handful free tickets every season.
You can play it if you get annoyed at the BS in standard, but then you’ll rage at how your opponent gets better cards than you so dunno which is worst.
