Simply searches endlessly for a game (tried over 5 minutes). It did work on my laptop before.

Did that problem just happened, or did it happen a little while ago and you are just reporting it now? The reason I ask is that there was an issue which was fixed yesterday (August 3rd), so if the problem was today, then it is something new.

I experienced the same today. On laptop, BTW.
When the search takes too long, I simply cancel and queue up again. The two or three times I did it, cancel and requeue got me into a game quickly.
