The game is satirical at this point. Just faced a shaman with 2 lightning storms, hex, crushing hand, all in the first 11 cards.
0-3 AGAIN
0-1 AGAIN
Why am I facing people with INSANE decks at 0-2?? Priest with mind control, mass hysteria, are you kidding??
How does anyone not uninstall this PoS game? How can anyone play this game?
Game is absolute cancer coIn flip, no skill pile of crap. Playing this game puts me into a foul mood. I never get pissed at video games but somehow a children’s card game does it. Unbelievable.
First, I’ll tell you what everyone tells me. Learn how to arena.
That being said, I totally understand your frustration. I am on break from arena until the new expansion specifically because my rng seems to be a kid with a magnifying glass.
It’s absolutely ridiculous that you’ll get paired against the perfect rng when you had the worst. But such is the spirit of arena.
Arena plays a bit different but if you keep getting 0-3 most of the times then i should advice you to watch some arena videos.
Kripparian is a decent choice.
I think you still need a learning curve on deckbuilding in arena.
There may well be a lot of excessive luck in arena, but routinely going 0-1 wins means you are one of these two possibilities:
terrible at drafts in arena
terrible at playing hearthstone period
I consider myself a fairly average arena player and I manage about 3.75 wins per run, with the occasional 12 win and the occasional 1-2 win. Honestly, I can’t remember the last time I won zero matches. That would mean you are in the bottom 1/9 of hearthstone players.
Usually I think the mindless fanboy defenders of HS are pathetic, but this thread is just sad.
Every mage has pyro blast and every warlock has demonbolt. Its just how arena works, some cards are auto pick and you will see them in 90% of the decks you play against.
Demonbolt is massively underbucketed so an autopick but Pyroblast is far from an autopick since it’s in the second bucket and up against stuff like Stonehill Defender and Blastwave(!). Light Forge has it with the lowest tier score in its bucket. So if you see it in 90% of the decks you play against you probably don’t play at very high win rates.
Yes pyroblast has some though opposition but in the end I always pick pyroblast and I never have regretted it. Every mage seems to have one these days, its a very popular pick and the game plays so much easier with pyro in hand.
My winrate is fine, pyro really is a very good card. Better then stonehill and blastwave I think (which are also excellent cards)
It’s a good card but far from an autopick and depends a lot on the rest of the deck. It’s goodness is also a bit deceptive as it’s so flashy and it’s a finisher - how many times would you have won even without it is anybody’s guess.
I would never “mindlessly” pick it unlike Demonbolt which is, I think, as close to an autopick as there is in Arena (Unstable Evolution is another contender). I mean, even there you should consider how many you already have and the rest of your deck and so on but that goes without saying.
Personally, I find Flamestrike far more ubiquitous than Pyroblast.
I get you, I also don’t enjoy arena.
I always promise myself not to get mad until I see my drafting choices compared to what other people get. Then I finally draft a card like the Lichking and never draw it while 2 priests 2 games in a row copied the card from my deck and played it against me. That arenarun was my last. Too much salt running through my veins after that one.
