I am sorry to say but I feel like i need to give this feedback to the Arena developers of Hearthstone.
It is unplayable, I don’t know how you test this but, do better! Everything is overpowered and unless I pay 100’s of dollars to get a good decks by shuffling them, is not worth it. But I also guess that maybe that is the scope, cash is indeed king. Take care!

It is obviously p2w (you can’t play at all without paying (play regularly I mean)) and it’s extremely hard to draft well for beginners. They should make a half-drafting format similarly to how Duels were. I envision something fun would be to get on 1-go 15 cards of a specific tight synergy (eg all the cards of Libram or Excavation or Zerg of a class) and only then to draft the rest cards from neutrals or other general-purpose cards.
I ran 30 arena runs since xpac released, all by gold. My average score is roughly 5.5, a bit lower than last month (roughly 6), but still get 88g back per run.
The only thing to complain is the reward. Dust and common/rare cards is annoyed that lower the gold reward (8w run sometime gives only 80g plus a common and a rare which is 25 dust).
You may need to learn more about drafting and class synergies.
so, the arena is a terrible system, I have seen people who create accounts in bursts until they find the perfect deck or almost and make more than 6 wins, we are talking about a totally flawed system, I advise anyone against playing by paying because those who tell you that they make 5/6 wins are lying. This thing is impossible and I will explain it to you mathematically
1- In the arena only PROs play, so people who never miss a beat
2- In the arena many players play who draft multi-accounts in bursts, so you will not find poor decks
3- Given the two previous points, it is not possible to reach average wins of 6 or more, even if you are a pro, because you only meet other pros and the rng does the rest, drafting even with the support of guides who tell you the value of each card and calculate the synergies you will ALWAYS have worse decks on average than those who draft in bursts
Therefore: be wary of those who tell you that they make 6 wins on average by drafting and playing with what they can draft. I challenge this user to post on YouTube at least 20 runs in a row, maybe in timelapses where he averages 6 victories…
The Arena right now is easily one the top 3 worst times for it in all of HS history. The win rates for the good and bad classes are insanely skewed. I wouldn’t get near Arena till they do the big update on it.
as long as blizzard collects money in arena it will not update anything
