Arena is broken

Says who? I say no, they don’t, because there is no game played. Average winrate is exactly 50% by definition.

Just to bump the thread: I’ve been top 100 in the Arena leaderboards multiple times, and there’s nothing about the leaderboard that has anything to do with whether unplayed games count as losses or not.

Here’s the arena leaderboard. It counts the average number of wins a player gets per ticket, but NOT the percentage win rate.

I would agree with that. I’m pretty sure that a retired run would be counted as the total number of wins, so anyone retiring a run would tank their leaderboard ranking (average wins per ticket), NOT improve it.

If the leaderboard counted percentage win rates, then retiring a bad draft that wasn’t going to get 3 wins would improve your percentage. But I see no evidence of win rates, only number of wins per ticket.
