Do these Devs play their own game? They ban a Priest card that allows you to draw 2 minions… but leave in a card where the whole rest of the game a Mage’s opponent has to sit back and watch the Time Warp get used over and over again?
Ridiculous.

Ridiculous.
Would YOU pay people to play a game?
Uh yeah if i was charging the public money for my game. It’s called “Quality Assurance.”
Well you’d be a fool. No game companies do this. That’s why they have early access and beta tests — to get people to do that work for free.
" Quality Assurance for games is about finding inconsistencies, glitches, or bugs in the software or game experience."
Every Publisher plays their game before beta. You’re clueless. 8237 posts? You clearly have way too much free time.
Just for bugs. Not for balance. Balance takes far too much time.
they nerfed parrot a rare cheap minion and forced them to use a 9 mana legendary one
after the change the deck never been the same again
But they have been given new survival options they didn’t have before
Like being able to play 5 ice blocks in a row
Yeah blizzard used to have that. The Old solo missions were super polished, the og lich king fight even had text for playing his own spells against him with t1 mana binds or summoning Kelthuzad’s kitty.
Hell, even Dungeon run had secrets left in it that took like several years to find but qa for it. Like if you managed to (somehow) play 7 millhouses against Ms Millhouse Manastorm. She’d scream out of rage and concede.
I didn’t even know anyone who talked about it for like 5 years until just the other year when someone discovered it with some obscure meme deck.
Then around Activision starting wrapping it’s hands around hearthstone. They mass fired the Q/A in a time of record profits to announce more profits.
Apparently the whole blunder with Ow2 promising pve, and then charging 10$ for the pre existing blizzcon beta content (we had to remind them they already had made…) was a great idea. before they were planning on not releasing anything from the sounds of it.
And now when you que into hearthstone games you get to see “TEMP ART: REPLACE” in book of mercenaries, next to “TEMP TEXT: REPLACE” in world of 20 year outdated engine, yet 250$ a year WarCraft.
And last time i qued for a tavern brawl at the start of the week… you got live ‘ERROR TEXT: OTHER PEOPLE ON THE TEAM, PLEASE REPLACE THIS TIPS MENU. I DELETED A TIP AND DON’T KNOW HOW TO DELETE IT’ messages.
Oh, and also the balance patch nerfed fate splitter, about a couple months after i crashed me and my opponent out of tavern brawl with it for trying to play it and left a bug reports.
…
I guess it could be worse, could be a Guild wars 2 balance policy where their balance policy is just to literally ban anyone who leaves balance feedback lmao. ( “Can’t be any pvp complaints if you ban all players who leave a complaint FROM the game!” “WHY does nobody talk about us?” XD)
I doubt it was a commercially viable strat. But i guess their developers really like working there since it’s been like 10 years and whoever was on the dungeons or raid department in a mmorpg literally never needed to add a dungeon or raid to the game again lmao.
we have a counter for that just cheap away their hp
and when its 2 or less test if there is a secret test for objection and play ashen elemental
What’s the issue with time warp in wild? Haven’t touched it yet
With the removal of Classic they should treat Wild like the Classic mode and leave it alone.
No, they should not. They should reinstate classic so the bots return there, instead of polluting an otherwise fun format.
Time Warp still sucks to play against but it’s less garbage than it used to be since it hinges on one legendary minion that can easily be stolen or eaten or milled or countered. Not to mention stealing the Time Warp itself, since the greedy players won’t play it until they have the legendary card to be able to repeat it.
And yes, if you’re not running either aggro or hand disruption like Theotar or Mutanus, you’re not going to win most wild matchups. Some of those wild decks are just too inevitable.
The endlessly repeating spells are pretty annoying though. I got Blizzarded like 10 times in my last game against a Time Warp mage.
Is this a joke? Have you seen how badly many games have been released in just the past 10 years? Barely playable is “gold” for them and out the door it goes. The general public is in charge of testing a game for balance and everything else these days.
Ah,m jeez! SHOTS FIRED! YOU GOT EM! GET EM UP! GET EM UP!!!
I don’t care if it’s 1 post or 1 million. Forums aren’t a designation at all whether or not you have a life.
This would be the moral obligation which Actiblizz just doesn’t care about anymore. Look at D4 launch. People bought it in droves on name alone, which is what they sell these days. The name. We know it and they know it. So, why pay more people more time to test something when people will spend the money any way? That’s the point he was making.
