All over the forums i see “nerf DK” , DK is OP and so on . Imo DK needs buffs , it get utterly destroyed by druid , dh and rogue . And those are pretty much the only classes people play now . They need to buff DK, Warrior and Mage .
gotta beat on the new kid in class to fuel their own fragile ego,
on another note yes some of the dk cards should be buffed either by stats or mana cost but not both as that might be to good.
In fact Dk is pretty balance. The rune system work as intended and the only class that may need multiple buffs is warrior. Brann needs to get oblivion treatment to where it belongs “wild”
Yeah maby removing Brann would be enough to balance the game a bit . Warrior needs buffs for sure , almost unplayable right now .
They should not be buffing anything unless the power level of the game comes down drastically.
Yeah I honestly have no idea why everyone is crying for dk nerfs. All 3 builds are below 50 wr
It is seems to be true, both from my kwn experience and statistics. Death knight is not good and a fair step below the power level of a lot of the other classes. It is almost fair to say that if it was just warrior and death knight, warrior might seem OP by comparison.
I think lower ranks see DK as op. I have people on my friends list that are complaining about DK our telling me DK is soooo good and they are all in gold or silver.
One you get into Diamond you quickly realize DK is weak.
Is Diamond where most players are though? Most players do not have 6 or 7 legendaries and the key cards from each expansion to make each powerful deck. Most players aren’t paying tons of money to win their way to diamond by having lots of cards and lots of dust to get ones they are missing. Most players are playing with only one or two of those cards needed for key decks, and the cards they were able to get from the DK release. This is why the game has become particularly inaccessible for “make your own viable decks” and Blizzard keeps up the pressure on PTW, because people keep paying.
(The short answer is no, we aren’t playing the same game.)
I neither agree nor disagree but as someone that is playing in gold atm, everyone that I have played against has all key cards (and legendaries) and I’m pretty sure gold is where most people are.
Don’t know how strong DK really is, but I will say the “discover, discover, discover, discover” crap it pulls can get real old real god damned fast
So my question to you is, do you buy cards and pack bundles regularly? With free cards only (or 2000 gold mini expansions) and admittedly limited time/interest to play, the best I can usually do is gold 5, with a single deck only and other classes are pure rubbish.
Don’ you think that the majority of players are not in Gold or Diamond most of the time? Sort of a critical mass issue. Out of 1000 players say 500 are bronze. Then half of those left are Silver. and so forth.
Something like that is usual in any competitive ladder environment where the majority of the competitors are somewhere in the bottom. I’m willing to bet that Blizzard takes great pains to keep it that way so that players who can’t really progress much with what they have are pressured to buy cards for money. Are there public stats anywhere showing the number of players in each general rank?
An average player can reach diamond with a 3k dust deck with not a lot of trouble.
I never buy card packs for money, only gold and i regularly get diamond 5, i disenchant alot of cards from classes i dont play though, id say its more of a skill issue. And in my opinion death knight is pretty balanced
If you extrapolate the buffing of every card that isn’t as strong as one or two others this only exacerbates the problem: cards are already too powerful. For the playability and thus longevity of the game this cannot be a viable optional forever (or at least until Hearthstone’s doors are closed.
just cause it gets destroyed by some classes doesnt mean it not OP in some regards, most complains probally will be about blood cause it so incredibly boring control fest.
patchwork is a mutanus on steroids.
soulstealer is a twisting nether that gives them resources and a 5/5
blood boil and deathstrike are very nutty control tools also
vampiric blood with 10 health at 2mana is allready good but al the lifesteal makes it even better.
and then there the fact they very easly can discover multi extra’s with bran + scorpid, schoolteacher hematurge ect
just now i fought a blood dk that got 4 vampiric blood total yes 80 health that with all the lifesteal and removeal i just ran into fatique cause the guy offcourse took my xyrella (shadowpriest) with his bran theotar.
unholy and frost are fine, allthough i can imagine a minion based deck or one that want to attack with face will curse at frost with it 6 (i think?) not counting extra discoveries freeze that can hit face.
the only reason DK is not doing amazing is cause of the other degerate decks like deathrattle rogue and druid

It has no decent Win condition.
Deal with 60 /70 HP opponent isn’t dificult. It’s boring.
They have no plan to back up all that hit points from their hero.
One deck that actually shows how both of those have to be together is Quest Hunter.
It’s not meta right now but is a decent example of How to use extra health as part of your strategy.
wth whould blood get edited into DK by moderation cause of language rofl ok dude
did you read? i not said it was OP i said some of their cards are… and they have plenty of ways to win, mograine, astalor and they got plenty of other minions you know minions that can hit your opponents face?
and dont talk about the degerate bs that is quest hunter
