Are the Mini-Sets Worth it?

If I were looking to buy one of the three re-released mini-sets, which should I buy, if any at all? I’m free to play except for one $50 scholomance bundle I got a couple years ago.

All things considered mini-sets are easily one of the better possible purchases in the game.

Which one you should get depends entirely on what decks you want to play and which set contributes the most to it.

They’ve also confirmed that Voyage will have a mini-set, which would probably come some time in June, so you also might consider saving the $20 for that unless you already plan on grabbing it regardless.

yea I think it’s kinda worth it but it sucks things like that are stuck behind a paywall

imo almost everything to be buyable with gold but it’s not.

Okay, I haven’t really been interested in most cards in the three that were just put into the shop again.
I’ll probably save my 2k gold for the voyage one then.

I think this is the first expansion I didn’t spend a dime on lol just bought packs with gold i saved and went from there.

Thank you, I wasn’t too impressed with most mini-set cards, so I think I’ll just get those ones from standard packs.

Mini sets are usually good for dust if you don’t like the cards.

$20 or 2,000 gold for 35 cards, including legendaries, is the best deal Blizzard has ever implemented in Hearthstone, in my experience (playing 2 1/2 years).

The golden ones aren’t worth it. The other mini sets are.

The mini sets are the best bang for your buck in this game by a mile. 2000 gold for a guaranteed how much dust if ya don’t like any of the miniset cards? GUARANTEED

Thanks for the help everyone! Legendary-wise, you are getting more value out of the mini set than 20 packs I notice, but not card quantity-wise.

If you’re short on money, play something else or get a job. Not being snarky, I really mean it.

I’m not short on money, I just don’t want to spend a lot of it on Hearthstone. I’ve made high winrate decks quite a lot using no money.
