Is the card back worth the effort? (speaking about Naxxramas)
They are not that hard, but I think it depends on your card pool. Some luck is sometimes necessary.
Whether its worth it is a personal preference. The card backs mean nothing to me. But I like the challenge of completing the heroic stuff.
Yes they’re diffcult blizzard made them so and they have different deck. Its for players who want a challenge. Card pool matters so bring all of your skills to defeat those who stand against you! 
Not at all. I find them to be quite fun. If you get stuck on a boss happy to take a DM and let you know the deck I use to beat the particular boss.
Not right now with the current powercreep. 10 years ago the card pool was much smaller and much less powerful.
