Are dusting golds recommended and easier method?

Is it best to just dust golds if you have duplicates of normal copies? Also if so is there a way to filter and know which ones are copies to just search and dust them? Also know if they are disenchantable instead of searching every single card name, checking re-checking your collection? For example maybe through my collection on HSReplay?

I haven’t tried using HSReplay yet, so I can’t speak to that.

However, I always make a note of any gold cards I receive in packs - which character, what the cost of the card is, what the name is. Then, immediately after opening that pack, I go into my collection and look specifically for that card to see if I have it in both gold and regular… and, if I can dust it, I take care of it then and there, before any mass disenchantments.

OK thank you I might have to go through them all, then start doing that.

I would go through set by set, and type “extra” into the search bar.

This was recently broken. Maybe they fixed it?

Yeh searching extra didn’t work for me unless I really have no extras left now.

I just did a quick check and it looks like it’s working for me. However, I don’t have any golden cards that I don’t already have at least 2 normals for. I don’t know what it would do if I had 1 regular and 2 golden.

It’s best to save cards until they are nerfed. This way you get 400 dust from golden cards

This is true. I had a golden Pen Flinger and Sword of the Fallen (as well as many regular duplicates).

Though, really if you are short on dust, you can just get rid of extras for cards that aren’t top-tier (and therefore 99% not going to get nerfed), and there’s a lot of them.

While the filter “extra” doesn’t work the simplest method is filter “golden” and disenchant every card that doesn’t give you warning “you’ll have less cards that you can use in deck”.

Oh that sounds great too, thank you.

Golden cards are only cosmetic in nature over the traditional card. they have flashy effects and motions when played.

I almost always disenchant golden cards unless It is a card that I use in a specific deck and do not have the normal version of it. As soon as I get the normal version I dust the golden.

Golden cards have a significantly better dust value than a regular card and are a good way for new players to fund new decks. As your collection advances, You can start to hold onto the golden cards to show them off in play.

Aside from that I would always suggest disenchanting them to make cards you actually need.

to see what golden cards you have, Just type “golden” into the search bar and it will only display golden cards.
