New to the game. Followed hearthstone for many years, watching YouTube and going to gatherings, thought I’d give it a go. Loving the game but how the hell are new players like myself meant to get through these stupid ranks when all you face is people with tier 1 decks who clearly know the game better than you do. Now I can skip these ranks, but I shouldn’t have too forego my free packs because of people who like power. I made a decent handlock but haven’t got all the cards. All my classes are level 10. I’m also rank 16.

Help. Anyone.

You’re likely facing players with T1 decks because your MMR is high. Concede a bunch and you should be able to face some easier opponents.

btw What deck are you using?

Hope you realize literally everyone, including you has full access to a free deck.
So of course you are facing decent decks.

What the hell are you talking about ? He is a NEW player in the apprentice ranks and you’re telling him he has a high MMR ? I had a good laugh.

Yeah after the apprenticeship. So no free deck yet.

I watched Trump’s full last F2P run. Towards the halfway point all he faced were Control Warlocks and Spell Mages, two popular decks for the time.

He had x11 stars once he exited Apprentice ranks. That’s high MMR. Shows what you know.

Comparing Trump, a full time streamer who’s been Legend almost every season to a random guy who’s never played before.

Handlock’s not very viable right now, especially if you’re facing meta decks. I’d recommend switching to some cheap version of Face Hunter or Aggro Shaman, or just keep trudging along.

You act like it’s impossible to reach high MMR. You just have to win a bunch more than you lose.

You have no idea what Nushiro’s skill level is, and you clearly don’t know how Apprentice ranks work, so I don’t know why you’re bothering to reply.

However, you get plenty of rewards at the apprentice rank, don’t you ?

And you’re near the end. Naturally, you are most likely playing against people who’ve played before and chose to craft decent decks.

Because there aren’t that many true new players in 2021.

Yeah clearly, the guy who’ve never played a game of HS in his life is such a highskill cap player that he needs to ask for help in the forums to get through the APPRENTICE ranks.

And as we can see above, he hasn’t lost a game until now, which is why he needs our help :rofl: because these ranks are ‘‘impossible’’ to go through.

Your ignorance is showing. Apprentice ranks take forever to get through and often include just as difficult opponents as normal Ranked. There’s 40 ranks with 3 stars each and no multiplier to make it go faster.

And Nushiro is using an unviable deck against a meta that farms it.

The fact that you compare Trump’s MMR to this guy who’ve never played before is LAUGHABLE. And you call me ignorant ? I hope Trump doesn’t read your post because he will be greatly offended.

It’s pretty simple, he’s near the end of the apprentice ranks and start facing people who’ve opened quite a lot of packs and are able to craft decent meta decks.

What did you expect ? As I said before, pretty much all the guys in the apprentice ranks are just smurfs who made a new F2P account, the true ‘‘new’’ players are almost non-existent.

Help as in advice. Not help as in log into my account and do it for me. I just want to play the normal game but don’t want to forego my free packs but I don’t see any other option at the moment because Im finding it very difficult not having alot of cards

What do you want us to tell you my dude ?

All you can do is keep playing until you get out of those ranks.

And if quest mage is too difficult for you, just concede to them, who cares ?

You’re not going to get any help from this guy. All he does is tear other people down and claim he’s some master.

Pretty much just play a better deck or get farmed by the current meta’s Combo decks.

Can’t be that much of a master if he doesn’t realise how bad apprentice ranks are or thinks that you automatically get a free deck when you make a new account. But I’m grateful for any advice. I’ll try a new deck or just skip the ranks.

Handlock isn’t good. Even with all the cards, you won’t be able to win against either smorc or quest.

Dust all card you don’t use, craft the warlock quest, and build a decent zoolock quest or combo quest deck. Then you ll have a better shot at winning.
