So I’m still in apprentice levels and any time I try to add non basic cards it says the deck is invalid for the mode.
Yet I’m going against built decks that I can see have non basic cards. Is there a reason it does this or is it a glitch?
You should be able to put non-basic cards in apprentice decks. A non-basic card is any card with a gem (common, rare, epic, legendary).
Apprentice decks are restricted to cards in Standard. You can’t make Wild decks. That means you can’t put Wild cards in the decks you make.
The current standard sets are Initiate, Outland, Galakrond’s Awakening, Dragons, Uldum, Rise of Shadows, Classic and Basic.
I believe there are 15 other sets, which are all Wild.
