This looks really sweet, and seems geared towards a more controlling style of Hunter as opposed to aggressive builds. The base version is good for early control, as it should kill a lot of early threats. The Prime version is giving 16/16 in rush stats for 8 mana, which can either control the board or threaten to push damage.

I have to say, I’m a bit sad that Dire Frenzy is rotating. Dropping that onto Zixor could be pretty disgusting.

Both forms being Beasts certainly improves the potential synergies, both in Standard and in Wild.

Scavenger’s Ingenuity, for example, can tutor the second form to devastating effect, or fish out the base form in a pinch.

This is a Quest Hunter card. It replaces Halazzi. Both halves get tutored as rush minions.

I don’t particularly like the stat distribution on the first half. 2/4 isn’t good for rushing.

One of the stronger, most directly powerful primes.

And Deathrattle hunter in wild? Just think about it.

2/4 stat line for the first card is pretty bad. You rarely kill anything with that. And it may stay alive too, which is not something I would want cos it gives my opponent a turn to react to it with a Silence for instance.

The Prime version is more interesting, though. Imagine tutoring it with
Common · Spell · Ashes of Outland · Draw a Beast. Give it +3/+3.

It would become 8 Mana summon four 7/7s with Rush!

You can get it with Rexxar in Wild.

I think it’s a Mediocre Doppelgangster. As a standalone card I think it’d be decent, but at 8 mana, three 4/4s isn’t as impressive. It’ll get removed easily or just cleared with massive AoE. 2.5/5

It has rush.
It’s actually good.

I missed the Rush Part on the second half.

Indeed yes it is a lot better.

Guys, you’re all forgetting:

Turn 7: Scarlet Webweaver, “Reduce the cost of a Beast in your hand by 5.”

Turn 8: Tundra Rhino + Zixor Prime for 18 face damage. (More if buffed!)

I’m not usually experienced enough at Hearthstone to make these calls, but this time, I’m calling it: Zixor Prime attack will be nerfed, or Scarlet Webweaver cost reduction will be nerfed.

It’s also 4 copies, not 3. It summons 3 copies of itself, and then there’s the original. It’s 16/16 Rush, effectively.

With Tundra Rhino it’s face damage!

8 mana card in hunter? Lol

Realistically too slow for any meaningful tundra rhino combo, whoever thinks this is getting nerfed gets a lol from me.

Has some pretty good potential in quest hunter, but apart from that I can’t see this being run in much else without other reveals.

Why should 8 mana cards in Hunter be weak? Remember Call of the Wild?

Gonna be honest here, that looks like a Pokemon lol. Good card, though. Real good.

It looks like a Fakemon.
From those rom-hacks, like Pokemon Insurgency. Or Pokemon [REDACTED].
Huh. Weird.
What was I talking about?

Rexxar is a Pokemon trainer - confirmed.

He is similar to Ash. Incompetent, looks about as stupid as he actually is.
Wins by sheer dumb luck. And should be in a coma, so that the story can finally end.
