Anyone seen HSR? I blame too many classes

I just looked at HSR. Four classes @47% or less WR’s.
I don’t know who in their right mind would bother trying to ladder with those.
Correct me if I am wrong here, but it seems like every expansion now, almost half the classes get slammed to unplayable.
I say it’s because of the # of classes and decks, coupled with the insane power of current cards.
Rebuttal?

I don’t have paid HSR so I can’t verify your claim (apparently the free tier is absolute trash and not worth looking at.)

Assuming your claim is true about HSR (which I don’t doubt just can’t verify,) I’m a little confused because this is what I see for each class. Below near t1 or t2 would imply a winrate > 50%, since <50% would clearly not be t1 or t2.

  1. Priest - control priest is near t1 if not t1
  2. Death Knight - BDK and UHDK seem solid options (T2/T1)
  3. Rogue - miracle rogue (I’d place it in t2 atm)
  4. Warrior -enrage warrior (t1)
  5. Druid - prior to nerfs they had Chad Druid, after nerf I think this may fall to t3 or t4. Druid may be a class with no 50% WR option thanks to the chad druid nerf (whomper)
  6. Paladin - pure paladin is a solid T2 deck, possibly flirting with T1
  7. Shaman - totem shaman seems like a solid T2 option, evolve shaman may be T2 as well
  8. DH - both outcast DH and relic DH are T1, T2 options, outcast DH is probably the best deck in the game
  9. Mage has spooky mage which comes in different flavours which is probably T1, and T2 burn mage variants.
  10. Warlock - Chad warlock hits pretty close to 50% winrate, this is probably a class that may find it hard to reach 50% w/loss ratio
  11. Hunter - big beast hunter is probably near T1, definitely T2

Am I missing something? It would seem to me every class except for druid and warlock probabyl have a solid T2 option (i.e. >50% winrate.)

That said, I personally find this meta unplayable myself, but Blizzard seems to be happy with it.

I can tell you right now that OP is looking at the 24 hour class winrate on the main page.

Even that said, its actually quite impressive that 7/11 classes are above.

Normally, even when there werent as many classes, you would only have 3-4 classes above 50% on the main page.

(And yes I know that page isnt a very good sign of the meta)

Not every class can be good at the same time, its impossible

I wouldn’t expect them all to be good.
But four classes at sub 47 percent.
Is that usual these days?
Because I remember many metas where only one or two classes were sub 50 percent, and the spread between classes was far closer.
I question if that is possible anymore with eleven classes and the power levels of current decks.

Current situation is better than usual. At the beginning of expansion difference between best and worst class was over 10%. Now most of the classes are very close.

47% overall or in certain brackets? I am assuming the first.

I played a mage deck standard last month. Had no stars through bronze/silver. Played many games, 13 win streak then boom… Gold bracket. The deck went from 61-62% to much less. Still above 50% though.
I modified it and am back to 60% overall in 250+ games combined.

My friend still plays that deck more or less because he havent got much cards/dust. He would play any deck really. But if his deck sucks. its to late. game on till you get rich
Our winrate combined is probably below 50%. He still plays it bringing its % further down. He does not care. He wants to play. He is a typical 47%´er.
Either they dont know that they are going below 50% before it is to late, or they do not care that much.
Could that be it?

Anything is possible. I just noticed the daily spread today and wondered if it is the new normal.
