I just had crazy luck yesterday.
I burgled the Mage Battlecry Secret Minion after playing Valeera, and with Cutlass up.
You become very hard to kill since every time they kill one you get another copy, and they can only damage your hero once per turn (all the while healing with Cutlass).
Point is, RNG can sometimes go your way.
Not the “worst” possible RNG but I would say the “typical” RNG.
Playing vs Shaman and I figure, yeah probably has a lightning storm in his hand. And he/she does. Then 2 turns later, still early in the game, well not if you consider most games over by turn 7 - 10. But still, only 12 cards into the deck. Could the Shaman have another lightning storm spell?
Yep he or she does =P. And with the other control spells like lightning deal 3 for 1 or do 2 dmg get s totem on overkill. Plus having Hex in the cute on top for the any bog baddie I could muster.
Yeah, Typical RNG of control vs Aggro. The cards are just lined up ready to play.
On the other end of the spectrum ludicrously goodluck exists. I’ll frequently pull kobold and ethereal lackeys off my lackey generators. The other night I got THREE golden legendarys in a single pack. In fact I’ve had better RNG off my free/gold packs than any I’ve purchased in bundles. RNG is exactly that: random. As many have pointed out already a casino doesn’t need to rig things to get the results they want. When a sample size is large enough, statistical outliers become more common.
I feel the same only when I play cultlass rogue… getting low power cards would be fine but most of the time I get weapons T.T
Also one season ago I had like a 6 game streak where thaurissan was my last card as a freeze mage

Today yet again: Brawl on my board Brann/2 x Rag and a 7/7 and Brann survives … yeah sure, the game is not rigged at all …
I’m a believer that HS messes with the random chances of certain events. For example, if a certain card is causing problems in the meta I think they adjust the pull rate for that card in new packs.
I do think that random is adjusted for items that HS thinks are happening too much.
People think they’ve been abducted by aliens.

I cant denie that i get rly lucky RNG happenings but in relation to worst RNG resutlts its around 1/3.
What is kinda annoying right now compared to years ago are the situations where this happens. Like when it was draw possible 1 card out of 20 remaining eg its now get the one card that change the complete game with a random effect card like discover or tresures. I lost games to players who made in games mistakes so heavy they deserve a slap but a such RNG effect happens omg this never would happen around 2019

RNG is RNG. I have been playing CCGs since grade school and it’s just the nature of the genre. That said HS is the most RNG heavy one I have played. lol But it seems fair to me. Sometimes I highroll sometimes I get shafted. I don’t have particularly good or bad luck.
An interesting piece of trivia that contrasts with your level of skill thats abysmal.

Yes, when the game wants to stop your progress… I just love it when it start to generate the most powerful minions of my class to the enemy “randomly”… yeah… because that is random… damn these controlled mechanics… random is not random that is the biggest problem with this game… when it wants you to lose then you will…
How is a post 5 years old even still findable?
