Any idea how a person can

Go from two non golden braggarts at ~100/100 to a gold with over 6.5k in a single round? They were the biggest minions on his board btw.

No Brann, No murloc triggering battlecries, nothing special outside of the braggart that seemed to come out of literally nowhere.

I think it’s some combo of making Refreshes cost (0), minions cost (2), and “Your Battlecries trigger twice this turn.” If it’s the Darkmoon Prize anomaly. IIRC you’re aiming to spam Golden Braggarts.

I have yet to get it to work, though. I’ve never looked up the exact sequence you want.

It was the tier 7 anomaly. I’m really confused. Somehow my wife (I was spectating) threw one of the elemental quilboars at the end of her line and managed to snuff him out with it. Barely won and she really shouldn’t have lol

Were dragons in the lobby? There’s one that triggers battlecries. Sometimes players will hold them in hand until they golden a Braggart.

Pretty sure dragons were in the lobby. I wish I’d been paying more attention or screenshot it so I’d be able to break down exactly what was present.

I have some ideas but the Anomaly in play and what hero they were playing is kind of key?

Braggart can trigger on itself. So, since the golden one becomes double the highest stats on board, it doubles itself presumably. With tier 7 anomaly, my guess is they got a golden brann in hand or the golden tier 7 bran + rivendare girl. The formula to get to that would be something like 200*(2^(n+1)), where n is the number of additional battlecries. 200 is from the understanding that both nongolden braggarts were 100/100, not summed up for a total of 100/100 of stats together.
So for that change in stats, they must have had about 5 additional battlecries allowed, IF there was no higher stated minion on board than ~200/200. If they were playing some sort of stat hungry deck, maybe would explain it? Hard to know without more context.

Tier 7 anomaly. Hero was Nguyen I believe.

Nguyen could get anything so that makes it tougher. Were you playing under the double BC effects anomaly? That could explain how quickly they inflated the stats. Maybe even hit the Hero power to trigger a BC a further time while in play.

I’m sure we have missed something but never be surprised how a perfect combination can come together in BG’s.

One of the biggest/quickest way I know to get a Braggart from low stats (lol 100/100 low stats; I miss og BGs) to huge stats in a turn is:

Combination of: End of Turn Murloc/Captain Sanders/Double end of turn effects/Brann/Braggart(s)

You turn your end of turn double guy golden and watch almost all of the your minions on the board turn shiny including the braggarts. Note, Golden Braggarts don’t match the highest anymore, they match the highest and double, so they match themselves and double, double again, double again. The biggest I’ve seen is the max ~2billion.

I saw a youtube video of the 2 billion braggart. Absolutely insane lol
