Any game/s has impressed you recently?

I am impressed by Genshin too. While called an RPG, is actually a combination of many popular titles into one.

Atom is still on watchlist.

Last game that really impressed me seems to be already from 3 years ago. Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales. Just overall great game.
And if I loosen up little I guess Spelunky 2 was good tooā€¦

Starcraft 2. I did play it up till a few years ago (at a very low level) and after the recent esl katowice i started playing it again and its just a lot of fun somehow.
Its a game that never gets old.

Besides that a bit longer ago agar io and diep io did impress me a lot. Quiet simple games but a lot of fun and with lasting apeal.

Into the breach is absolutely incredible for a budget indie game.
Ita the first tactics game Iā€™ve ever played where the battle mechanics are actually the most fun part. The balance is just close to perfect, and the RNG is JUST the right amount. The only downside is that some weapons just suck so you end up picking the same upgrades whenever available. For that I wish theyā€™d made a balance patch that maybe reduce the cost of some of the garbage weapons, or some kind of incentive to try them at least in early game over the clearly superior weapons.

Civilization 4 is my all-time favorite.
Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magical Obscura is also really cool.
Very different types of games yet both have great depth.

Been spending lots of my time on Monster Hunter World + Iceborn.

I know this is an old game and maybe not that well known but I picked up subnautica on the ps4 and I have to say itā€™s one of the best games Iā€™ve ever played.

Been playing AC: Valhalla a good bit. Beautiful game and it is a blast being a viking. I highly recommend it.

Heard so many good things about Arcanum. I couldnā€™t get into it last time I tried because of dated graphics and complex gameplay, but Iā€™ll probably try again, the customization seems endless.

I spent many hours playing Arcanum when it came out. Iā€™ve been tempted to buy it again, but yeah, the graphics are outdated. And it did indeed have a lot of complexity. But it was a really unique and fun game.

At first, it can be difficult until you learn the importance of putting points into your chosen combat skill and also understand the importance of Dexterity.
But itā€™s such a rich game. You can be a melee fighter, an archer, a boomerang thrower, a gunslinger, a magic user, a tech expert, a sweet-talker, a chemist, a sneaking thief/backstabber or a mixture of the above.
There are no classes so you can pick any skills, magic or tech knowledge when you level up, or you can just put points into stats.
You can play a character who is heavily proficient in magic, one who is very good with tech or one who doesnā€™t specialize in either.
There are lots of cool quests.
The gameplay isnā€™t linear so you can technically run around doing whatever you want.
You get fun companions with great voicelines. In general, the dialogue in the game is quite rich and the voice acting is excellent.
For people who like that kind of thing, you can attack any NPC if you so choose (though of course consequences exist).
Itā€™s also one of those games you need to save often because you might encounter some insanely powerful monster in the wild and die (actually quite realistic considering the game world).

Graphics are surely outdated but the gameplay is worth it. As far as price, you can buy it for $6 on GOG:

Three rogue-like games for mobile, similar to slay the spire:

Void Tyrant
Pirate Outlaws
Night of the Full Moon

If you are into rogue-like solo stuff at all, I would highly recommend any of these. Iā€™ve spent many hours on each. Someone told me about Night of the Full Moon on these forums

Damn you look so passionate, the game must be really good  Iā€™m a big fan of C-RPG in general, Iā€™ll check on it again . Could be a lot of fun. Have you people tried the infinity engines games? Theses were really good too.
