Hardly a rare occurrence but just coming off a 4 game losing streak because the people Blizzard keep matching me with are taking their turn in the first few seconds of shop phase and going afk, blissfully unaware of any freeze/pass requests or doing anything with that which we pass to THEM.
Oh, and then of course there’s people who triple one of my minions by passing something at the VERY LAST POSSIBLE SECOND before combat, throwing it in my hand.
Let’s not forget stacking minions from smallest to largest against boards where that is literally the worst play imaginable with zero justification of synergy or anything to that ilk.
Then we get the people who don’t like that you aren’t their indebted slave and sell their entire board and roll with the demon that takes life instead of gold or buy the mana spell that costs 3 life to spite you.
I’m just going over the BASIC, floor-level obvious nonsense. I have zero doubts in my mind people will have more creative ways to screw their duo partners.
The fact that not only did this mode SHIP while lacking this most baseline of features, but that they STILL haven’t even given a single comment so much as ALLUDING to the mere IDEA that they will implement it is mind-bogglingly infuriating.
Frankly, I don’t even know why I’m surprised. This entire YEAR has been, and most likely will CONTINUE to be, an absolute gong show of blatant incompetence.
And yes, I’m mad, bruh. I’m ready to start crushing up chalk and mailing it to Blizzard headquarters in an otherwise blank envelope to give the higher-up executives a scare because clearly they can’t be bothered to do anything but live in their world of money-squeezing delusions.
You are expecting too much out of randoms. If you want consistent play experience from duos you will need a consistent partner to queue with. Queueing with Randoms will get you random play experience usually for the worse because people on the internet are jerks.

I agree with a couple things. Passing triples at the last second, smallest to largest with no reason to do it, afking the first couple turns. All no bueno. BUT, you can simply quit immediately and not have to deal with them. If you care about ranking numbers, dont play with randoms.
For the other stuff, like you ignoring build-making cards they asked you to pass and they get mad about it? 100% on you. If you cant buy the cards the turn they mark em, just freeze? If they want a card from you, look at their stuff and mark your own card to trade. Its called teamwork.
I think instead of your suggestion, they should just remove the report feature and let us send friend requests on every single match. the half of games where I get a good teammate and actually want to play with them again, their name doesn’t show up and you cannot manually send a friend request because Blizzard’s friend system is stupid.
Frankly, if someone’s not prepared to pay attention to the game, they shouldn’t queue. They shouldn’t be ALLOWED to queue.
For example: if my N’zoth partner can’t be bothered to, on turn 3, play the 2/4 bird I pass him to go with his 4/1 cat (and starting fish) within the first 10 seconds of us exiting combat, that’s not only clear inattentiveness, but pure LAZINESS.
I will concede I shouldn’t expect a pass or freeze for my own wants. Okay, yeah, I’ll live. But there is NO excuse for consistently not having the bother to play a turn for more than 4 seconds.
It’s more hair-clawing than people who play like they’re Lifecoach’s cousin or something, doing their turn only until the rope is halfway burned up.
