90% of all warlocks are painlock the rest are insanity including me, but im getting fed up doing the same wombo combo and would like to play a control warlock deck, but i cant really find any And i dont have the dust or gold atm to experiment with cards.
Should i just play sludge lock instead

Wheel lock was almost competitive before the mini set.
It’s definitely not the strongest thing around, but if you aren’t super concerned with your win rate, you can play that. It tends to prefer control decks to be common in order for it to make sense though.

There’s a DR Warlock deck that exists using DK. It’s got some control elements to the deck.

I went with excavate warlock because i had the most cards for it. It’s pretty fun, i doubt its the best lock deck around tho

Here’s my control warlock I was trying to work with before I made the Swarm Shaman from hell. this should work… IN THEORY ANYWAY Feel free to switch whatever legends. The intended strat was duping explodineers but I never got to do that successfully and instead relied on symphony from tidepool pupil spam and gnomelia + lifesteal to get me outta the red. Too late do I realize warlock got access to an easy board clear rn with eternal layover and defile.

I can’t wait for Badlands sludge cards to rotate so I can play warlocks. When I was a beginner I aggressively dusted its cards and now I don’t want to craft them because the rotation is too soon.
I was trying to do the barrels achievement yesterday and it was such pain; I figured if you try to “abuse” all the DEATHRATTLES duplications of the game helps; at least that’s interesting.

It’s aggro enough for a Druid, but it plays much closer to control against other decks
Much, much slower than what Sludgelock mains are used to, but also much more powerful against Druids in general
Curse of Flash is a keep against Druids - it’s to prevent their Eonar/Zilliax/Yogg scam when they’re left with 9 hp or less
You’ll probably need a lot of practice to play this deck properly, but it’ll be worth it if you play too much against Druids, and it will be bad against many other decks, but playable due to element of surprise.
If you stop playing against Druids, I have 2 more versions, one is the normal Sludgelock with fatique package, and the other is frostlock, also with fatique package + DK tourist
It’s probably good even without that. They tend to spam a lot of high mana minions so that card can probably drop them to 10-15.
Unless they get them Marin’ed to 0 mana but that can’t help it anyway.
