Hi there, I’ve seen a lot of murloc decks out there.
Bc I love playing mage, I’ve been trying to piece together a deck to counter a murloc shaman deck.
Any suggestions or tips?
Well, Murloc Shaman’s are good at the start, but bad late game. So if wild, I would go Elemental Mage and even if standard this might be good. Just make sure u have some small cards to counter his small cards.
Then you want board clear cards like spells that do 2 and 4 damage to all enemy minions.
Also, there is a card if he plays 4 minions, you can steal one of them which can sometimes be good.
Also, silence and sheep might help too.
Avoid relying on pure taunts. Murlocs can keep on growing with each other if you let them live.
Murloc suffers against multiple sources of small-time damage. You don’t necessarily need Hellfires, Hagatha Schemes or whatnot, often your best bet is small stuff like a Shooting Star, Backstab, Whirlwind, a 3/x weapon that comes early enough, or small rushers like Henchclan Hogsteed.
Murlocs are one of the most dangerous aggro types when just left alone, as they tend to power up multiplicatively rather than straight additively.
If all you’re facing is murlocs, add 2 crabs to any deck (except resurrect priest) and win.

Any deck that has synergy with wild pyro mancer does well vs murlocs, also running doomsayers helps as tech vs murlocs

Do you hard mulligan for toxifin though? I feel like that card can be really useful but not super bothersome.
i just add any low costed silence or deal damage card the class can run many games are won just by killing angler ASAP
