It looked like she was flipping through a spellbook in the cinematic. Knowing that each would likely represent a class, Mage seemed like a good bet.
I’ll take a minigun, though.

Ok… some Warcraft lore nerd reply…
If I remember correctly Night Elves are in Warcraft kinda like (nearly) immortal beings, with an age of hundrerds and thousands of years. I think there is a big chance she is very old as well.
It’s possible, she could have been “Druid student/teacher” for hundreds of years and just recently started to go on an adventure as an archaeologist.
Even Illidan took Druid lessons (but he failed). So it’s possible that every Night Elf took Druid lessons and Malfurion being one of the best, but it looks like she is pretty good as well (looking at her emotes).
Same I thought she would be mage as well, but seeing her being Druid makes me think HS team kinda cares about the Warcraft theme much more than other people willing to acknowledge it.
Night Elves were not so fondly about Mages, unlike their Elven Mage fanatics counterpart “Highborne” and “Blood/High Elves”… who are mostly known as Mages.
Maybe HS team strictly follows the (forgotten) core elements of Warcraft theme.
That explains why we haven’t seen a single Night Elf on a Mage card art… I always overlooked that.
Murlocs aren’t known for being shamans, Mechs aren’t know for being paladins. Mech/Demon hybrid aren’t know for being warlocks.
I think you’re going a bit far saying HS team caring about Warcraft lore
The mega bundle will be an easy skip for those who dont care for cosmetics.
Actually, most Murloc casters are very Shamanistic.
But The Light does employ Mechs with interesting crystal tech.
You must not have played the Legion expansion then, because they throw tech in with their demonic magic quite a bit.
Being Shamanistic doesn’t make you shamans
Demons are not warlocks. Warlocks use demons and Fel magic, but that doesn’t mean Demons are warlocks.
Demon hunters also use fel magic.
According to Thrall (yes Metzen big dude behind Warcraft story), Morgle is one of the best Shaman of the Earthern Ring.
Mechs don’t have idealogy, common-tribe or culture. They are pre-programmed.
A mech can be anything that the creator programmed.
it’s Jaraxxus who got technologic body-parts. Why would Jaraxxus not be a Warlock? Jaraxxus is the most Warlock character you can get. He didn’t lost his memory.
It’s like saying Mecha-Grommash can’t be a Warrior. That’s insane.
For $80 dollars I would say it’s approximately nothing. I did more than a weeks groceries with that amount today so $80 for less than half of full expansion is about nothing.
The Man’ari Eredar are considered demons and are most certainly warlocks as well.
Morgl is a powerful Shaman. Clearly other Murlocs who have similar abilities are similarly tapping into Shamanic powers.
what a rip off. 30 dollarsextra for what you want
I expected to see a thread like this.
The game is FREE to play, they have ALL the rights to put a skin behind a paywall if they choose to do so.
You also get 30 more card packs.
Better this than increase pack gold prices that’s where I’m at right now lol
Here we go again. A new expansion, a new set of posts like this.
Yeah, it sucks. It shouldn’t be like this, I know.
But if you think hero portraits aren’t that important, then think that both ways, in that it shouldn’t matter either way. Don’t let it bother you.
But it is important to a lot of players including me.
I actually care more about hero skins then my normal non golden cards
I feel you MVPM, I do, they’re important to me too! I love hero skins, advocated better ways of getting them, etc. And it’s hard for people on a tight budget yes, but at the end of the day, the best thing to do is raise support against it. I’m with either.
I understand Blizzard selling Hero skins for money is just business and I would be fine with that if it were just sold alone as the $10 skins. But having to buy it with the bundle is so dumb.
My example is a bit confusing, but I think it gets the point across
It’s like if you were buying makeup or fashionable clothes for yourself but you have to buy a car alone side with it. Sure the car has more value than the makeup and perhaps to some, the car is more important to them than the makeup because it’s useful. But you take the bus to work everyday and you don’t really care for a car. But if you want to buy the makeup to look good you’ll have to buy the useless car anyways.
Heh, it is nothing like that.
it’s exactly like that
are you really comparing an 80$ pre-order to a car ?
I’ve seen everything in these forums…
