Words cannot express the happiness i feel as this card leaves standard.
I’ve never owned it and i have always lost just because of this one card replicated multiple times.
I would rather they put it in a furnace and burn it for 12 hours, but regardless, good riddance worthless shiny overpowered piece of crap.
Aman’thul is fine. The cards that made it so easy to find him in the deck and then copy him over and over again were the problem.
One of the Druid cards was even nerfed in a way that it couldn’t copy titan minions. Maybe this should have been done to these Priest cards as well.
No way.
Having cards that give you additional copies of minions has not been an issue before. There’s lots of fun mechanics that are made possible with such cards.
It’s too much value when they replicate Amanthul, only.
So the issue is obviously this card with its clickable buttons and excessively powerful abilities. It’s wrong to ruin all other priest synergy just so this one card is fair.
So you want to win yourself, but not others.
Amanthul couldve easily been 8 or 9 mana and still been a great card imo.
As a priest main, he is irreplacable. Remember me, his absence will cost him.
While I agree with the opinion, I dont hear you cheering for the removal of the card you named your profile after >.> It is the only MORE OP card than Amanthul since everyones favorite infinite mana card got nerfed.
Good riddance to all these cards honestly. Titans as a concept are great. but as usual, Blizzard bungled them.
Gleefully I will watch on as Team 5 casts you and Amanthul into the abyss!
Amanthul sends his love to you from the Shadow Realm
I agree. It should be at least 8 mana like Odyn, or even 9 mana.
I agree, and good riddance to Groovy Cat as well, deck is like weapon rogue but boring.
We don’t want to ruin other priest decks in order to make amanthul fair. Its not that difficult to understand genius.
titans should not be able to have copies
no class should be allowed
nor non class(i see you trying to be sneaky blizz)
Well obviously the Devs know that. They don’t balance based on cards, but on overall deck performance.
Basically if they see all decks without Aman’thul doing badly, they’ll buff (eventually).
Hmm… tbh I am really disappointed with what I saw in theorycrafting concerning priest.
Imbue is really bad dont want to say horrible, because even if it was broken, the design is something I despise plus it doesnt remind me of priest all.
Not that amanthul’s existence would make things better but I dont see any replacement. And he needs it now more than ever since his pace seems to be much slower.
I don’t take seriously those streams. The decks are mis-piloted and mis-optimized and the players are goofing around. It will be clearer after at least 4 days of full release.
Not even the tavern brawl matters. It’s very limited in collection.
I haven’t really wanted cards to rotate out this bad since Genn and Baku. The titans were poorly conceived and very poorly executed. They were trying to make some kind of HS version of MTG Planeswalkers and they went about it ALL wrong. I hope they take that lesson and go a different route if they ever try it again.
Nah. Cards like that and shadowstep limit the design space of what is possible with a single card.
Thank you thank you thank you. A person with insight at last, concerning shadowstep.
The entire Titans expansion leaving Standard is extremely good for the game. In general, that entire set was really overtuned and produced some of the most disgusting metas in the last two years of the game.
