ALL adventure cards missing (bug?)

Was recommended to submit bug report by support as they could not help me.

Playing intermittently over the last year I noticed some missing cards I thought I had in my collection from back in 2016/2017. Now I understand this is a somewhat common issue with usually people not understanding core rotation or forgotten disenchantments, but my issue is worse than that and I can prove the missing cards. With the core set rotation I dug into my collection and previous Hearthstone purchases, to find that a lot of cards are missing from my collection.

Back in 2016/2017 I purchased and completed the following adventures:

  • League of Explorers
  • One Night in Karazhan
  • Blackrock Mountain

ALL (yes every single one) of the of the cards from these expansions are gone from my collection. I don’t know when this would have happened: I played a lot in 2016/2017 then only intermittently the past few years.

What happened to these collections and how do I get the cards that I paid for back?

Do you still have access to the adventures themselves? Is it possible that you dusted all of the cards at one point when they rotated to Wild?

Yes I have access to the adventures still (and thus can see I completed them 100%). No I did not dust every single card at some point as I mainly play wild, and used certain cards from these expansions for years.

I wonder what the hell happened. I find it very frustrating but also kinda funny in a way.

EDIT:
Ok just to be 100% sure I checked when the sets rotated (perhaps they all rotated at the same time or something and I just forgot): Karazhan rotated the last of these three during Year of the Raven (2018) together with:

  • Whispers of the Old Gods
  • Mean Streets of Gadgetzan

My collection still contains Gadgetzan and Old Gods cards (cards that I dont use / never have) so that rules out me disenchanting the rotating sets fully for some reason.

As far as I know, customer support can ask you to post a report here to ensure it is seen by the developers and QA engineers. That does not mean that they can close the case. Solving the issue still remains the responsibility of Customer Support.
So I recommend that you tell CS that you did as requested, but that you still want a solution.

Customer Support staff (at a high enough seniority level) should be able to check your account history to double check your claim of never dusting these cards. (Note that some people mistakenly believed they had a surplus copy when a card like e.g. Brann Bronzebeard was added to Core, and dusted it. They did indeed have a surplus copy, but only for as long as Brann remained in Core, and he has just rotated out).

Developers will never fix individual account issues. They might prepare scripts to mass repair accounts for issues that affected hundreds or thousands of accounts, but I doubt that is the case here.

Thanks for the recommendation, I have asked for an investigation into my account history. Let’s see what happens…

EDIT:
Well, they cannot help me. They did “…all the possible search for now” I guess…
Sad, now debating whether to continue playing this game at all considering all my decks are broken with the core rotation of Bran and Reno.

Same here. I haven’t played Hearthstone for over three years. After logging into the game, I discovered that over 50 legendary cards were missing from my collection. These cards are from the earliest paid adventures - Galakrond’s Awakening, One Night in Karazhan, League of Explorers, Blackrock Mountain, Curse of Naxxramas, Goblins vs Gnomes. I didn’t disenchant them. I contacted support in the European region, but they couldn’t help me. They mentioned that I either deleted them myself or they got deleted. Real money was spent on these expansions and cards.
