AIs have been totally dumbed down in solo adventures

Lately I’ve been playing solo adventures again and the AIs are now crap. A couple of examples:

Azalina Soulthief plays assimilation when her board is empty. She summons her wisps afterwards.

The boss in Tombs of Terror whose power is to deal one damage to all damaged minions will play plague of wrath when there are no damaged minions. He plays whirlwind afterwards.

Hearthstone never had a good A.I, I remember that the training A.I used to beat itself if there was a minion like abomination or leper gnome in the game.

One of the bosses just killed himself by attacking a minion.

It’s never been amazing but it wasn’t this horrible. For instance, Azalina used to be a hard fight, in part due to Assimilation.

This just got ridiculous. Water-toting Murlocs (Tombs of Terror) just hit himself in the face with Totemic Smash.

The last time I tried Witchwood, it was still nearly impossible to beat boss eight for any character. Rumble Run and Kobolds & Catacombs adventure were similar.

They have always been quite dumb. Normal way to cheese is to put Kelthuzad and taunt to board. Then AI wont do anything

I donno I can’t beat monkey king so I must really suck

U just have to beat his second phase quick by having a strong board during the end of phase 1.

Yes, the AIs are all broken. Bosses are not doing combo plays like they barely used.

  • Before they avoided using cards to overdraw, but now they use it without a problem.

  • They have a lot of fear hiting a Taunt minion.

  • They play cards that have zero effect for no reason or in situations where it does not make sense. Ex: plague of wrath with no hurt minions, ressurrect spells when the board is full, 0 mana spells without nothing to combo, etc…

  • They hit their own minions with spells for no reason.

In fact, the Tombs of Terror Kham boss is literally broken. Before he always attacked every turn, but now he simple refure to attack when it’s unfavorable for him and pass the turn making him invencible, because he never breaks his weapon and never leaves Stealth.

I noticed that yesterday. I beat him because I happened to be playing reno with the magic missiles hero power.

I haven’t completed all 4 yet, but I was able to clear on Darius Crowley and Houndmaster Shaw. Still haven’t been able to beat Infinite Toki or Captain Shivers yet.

Toki with double cast and the quest can do really well.

Jade and double hero power always works best for me against shivers.
