why? it still consumes the enemy’s life, i dont see why it shouldnt get trippled.
“The next card you play costs your opponent’s Health instead of Mana.”
I suspect it’s simply because there’s nothing about that battlecry that could be tripled.
What part, exactly, were you expecting to be tripled?
It says “the next card”, so it clearly wouldn’t apply to the next three cards.
And it says “costs your opponent’s Health instead of Mana”. Costs are paid only once, so again there’s nothing to be tripled.
“Costs health instead of mana” is a binary condition. Either it exists, or it doesn’t. Tripling it has no additional effect.
If you played a Shudderblocked and then a minion that had a battlecry of “your next card costs 3 mana”, it wouldn’t make you spend 9 mana. Making your next card cost Health instead of Mana (3 times), still makes your next card cost health instead of mana. It doesn’t suddenly cost 3 times more health than it does.
the part that could be trippled is the amount of cards that you can play while paying with the enemies health.like"the next and the next and the next card you play costs health insted of mana".i dont see why it shouldn’t act in such way, there isnt exactly any specification that this couldnt be the case.
It doesn’t work that way.
“The next card” means just that … the next card. It doesn’t stack.
yeah, i guess the “buff” stacks only on the next card you play, working similarly like the mana discounts.
