I have several cards that are missing after update. The reason I know this is because decks are missing cards. I still see what cards they were, but they are ghosted. I have searched every card name in every category, and they are just gone. There were like two that were still there that I removed the ghost named cards and reattached the card, but most are nowhere to be found. I received no notice of cards being removed from the game with a refund. I see nothing in patch notes about this.
It is likely those cards are moved to Wild. It would be helpful and appropriate that you provide the full names of these cards.
Unless forced to I exclusively play wild and I have similar issues. Baron Rivendare (which I got years ago and never got rid of) is now grayed out with “unknown” unlocked at level 41. I already have the card so no idea what is going on (other than the team messed up on the code, again)
“I have searched every card name in every category,”
I also am missing cards. High Inquisitor Whitemane, Brightwing, 2 Dranei Totemcarvers. Faded listing in decks where I had them. Not listed in any of my collections anymore. Available under crafting, but I’d rather not recraft cards I already had before the current expansion.
Still providing the full names of the cards helps give feedback to the developers on what cards the issue is with. Stop being so obtuse.
I could but to be honest I’m more concerned about the cards I am unaware of, and of their quantity’s due to the fact I rarely disenchant cards till they are nerfed to give full refund so some of these cards I may have 20 copies of they are all gone.
have a card dont mean own a card , the core set, that is a loaned set of cards was changed, so some cards were removed and some were added

TY Cece, that solves a large portion of the missing cards I do have a few I’m not seeing on that list but that was a big help thanks again.
rivendare is the one I am missing to, guess I have to wait
If you didn’t play the adventure that makes sense but since I got it through the adventure why in the name of good coding should I or anyone else who got it that way have to wait?!
Same here I am missing cards that I am sure I owned. Its ridiculous to think that I will now have to make a seperate collection list so that bugs dont get blamed on rotation of the core set. for myself all I can say is I am missing Lock and Load which I am certain I owned beyond that none of my decks were affected so I have no way to recall.
I looked in my collection and Baron RIvendal is still in the collection but not accessible in a deck until “level 41”. Also I have gotten every common (except for the 1/1 +5 stuff) and rare card in all my collection back to Gnomes but many of the rares are missing (Crystal Lion and War cache for example).
the ones that were still in your collection, were likely a golden copy in your deck but it got deleted for whatever reason and you still had a regular copy or two of that one. That is what happened to me anyway.
Cece, was the “loaned set” that was just rotated out, a completely golden set, because if not, then I definitely lost my golden versions of cards I have regular copies of as well.
I don’t have golden copies (other then the uncraftable ones) and keep all my rare normals so this doesn’t explain what is going on.
I am here to report the same issue. Several cards I own are ghosted out stating “unlocked at level X” I’m already a maxed out shaman, none of these class cards should be unavailable to me due to level
These were mostly the uncraftable loaners from the Core set that just rotated out.
If you have the originals from a non-Core set you can add them into the deck. Otherwise you will have the craft them if you want to use them. They will only be playable in Wild decks.
See More Core than Ever Before section.
I feel like there should be a pop up or some notification to let wild players know their cards are still there.
We’re going to have a lot of people wondering what happened to their cards.
I was just about to contact blizzard lol
Original poster - check the expansion that the card was released and you may see the card there.
For example; I thought my reno jackson was missing - only the uncraftable version was available when searching standard or wild cards.
When I looked at the league of explorers cards - then my original reno jackson popped up.
So it’s very likely your cards are still there.
yeah , when they first relased the core set , alot of people said on first rotation for sure someone will report missing cards, and that happened alot of times … so blizzard by giving free cards to anyone and taking them back after a period just made some people mad or feel robbed.
Plus around the web i read alot of guides that tell people to dust original cards not explaining this will happen , some just say “if you only play standard you can do it” yeah for standard player nothing changes , but for duel - wild - achievement hunters will change.
golden cards can be involved becouse
All Core Set class cards are rewarded between levels 1-10 for each class, and Neutral Core Set cards will unlock based the sum of all your class levels combined, up to the combined level of 60. Golden versions of Core Set cards can be unlocked by completing Achievements associated with winning games as each class.
but i dont have a list of what is unlocked and when …
Are you sure you are searching for the card with the right filter lile Crazy example , the quote is here
I think the real bug is the “level 41” unlock , probabily they complicated the core set so much by different steps of unlock , and when they changed the core set they forget to change all.
It’s like they have to remove the level 41 unlock from Baron and put it on a new core set legendary that joined with rotation.
