Ability to Copy Opponents Deck

I think it would be cool if you had the ability to copy your opponents deck after the game ends.

Heroes of the Storm is adding an update where you can copy a players build at the end of a match. I feel something like that would be great for hearthstone!

Sometimes there are just cool wacky decks that work really well but aren’t on any meta sites, i would love to be able to copy and play those decks sometimes!

Imo, that’s slightly disrespectful to homebrewers- instead, add them and ask for their decklist! I’ve never hesitated to share my decks, and it’s a good feeling besides:)

More social, as well!

The one difference is that you could already do something like this in HotS by looking at the talents page in the end game score screen. So this is more of a QoL change in HotS, compared to what it would be in Hearthstone. Like Illidari said, why not just add people and ask them for their deck recipe?

This came up in a Reddit thread yesterday. I think debating over privacy can be side stepped by suggesting an even more valuable feature: replay support.

The game should allow you to review a game you’ve played with all information made public. Including all cards in both decks and hands and every action taken across every single turn of the game. That way if anything happened in a game that was unclear - “What happened to the Corrupted Blood in my opponent’s deck?” “What duplicates were keeping my Zephrys from going off when I thought I had none?” “Why did my Lazul only show me Sea Giant when my opponent had three cards and never generated any more?” “Did I miss lethal or would that secret have stopped me?” - you can go back and find out for sure. There’s also the cool novelty of being able to review memorable moments from past games again.

Having access to your opponent’s decklist would come as a natural consequence of that. But the benefit such a feature would bring to the game seems to far outweigh any reasonable concerns of some random person you’ll never see again getting to take your deck for a spin.

Access to replays is great for homebrewers and more ladder-dedicated players alike.
No reason not to make it happen.

Ya, I want to see decks after the game is over.

Hands should be flipped over too when games end.

It would give players something interesting to think about after a game and possibly improve their Gameplay.

I think the main argument against it is Top Legend players might not want their Decklist known so easily.

There could be option in the settings for “Show Decks After Game”.

Having "Show Decks After Game" turned on allows the enemy to see your hand and deck after game and vice-versa. If the Opponent doesn’t have it turned on then you can’t see theirs and they can’t see yours.

People usually arent inclined to accept friend requests after a match especially if they won a game.
