A sincere apology to the devs

This game has no moral imperative for sure. But, to suggest that Devs have no control over the cards they print isn’t being accurate either. It is not like the suits at Activision have any clue what makes a card good, or bad. They only care about money. The Devs are the final word on card design and card balance because Corporate does not care about anything but the balance sheet.

What you said made little sense in this context either.
Is it moral to murder because you were hungry?

Deliberately misquoting someone is the raising of a white flag of an individual trying to keep up with concepts beyond their own competence.
But it’s expected.

When did I quote you? You seemed to be advocating that the ends always justify the means and I pointed out that some of the sleaziest people to ever exist have relied on that (false) adage for years.
Forgive me if i misinterpreted.

Depends on the moral foundations you rely on to judge the action.

How.
Tell me how I even insinuated that.
I said that human autonomy is far more complex than idealistic dreams.
Ironically, the way you argue is very in line with the style your supposed opponents do it.

That’s a strawman.

I literally just criticized the corporate culture.
The issue with thinking black and white while discussing the topic of morality, is that you’ll always be wrong.
I’m baffled by how you got to your conclusion.
It does not seem objective at all.

Well…

You’re right.

When I say “DEVS” most of the time i talking about Activision blizzard entirely and not only team 5 because I personally think that is actually impossible to people with game design experience take decisions like some of the last ones if not forced by others with no actual experience but more power over the game directions than they.

In this Nation using Our Laws is it Murder, or is it survival?
Deep questions with fuzzy, gray, answers for sure. God, makes me wish I was still a loadie.

Spoken like someone with no actual responsibilities in life.

Also, stealing is against the law. Making less optimal games is not.

Madmax used moral relativism.
It missed the point.
No offense.
Needed my pokemon reference.

I hope I didn’t offend you or any one else. These are questions I have asked myself many times and to this day i have no clear answers.

Your question implies that following the law is moral. Which, again, is only true if you operate under a moral framework that makes law abiding behavior inherently moral. Or alternatively, under a legal framework where morally good actions are inherently legal.

The point is, “is it moral to murder someone if you’re hungry” is a surprisingly complex question if you bother to actually think through what the question actually means, and the underlying assumptions presented by said question.

It’s funny how people often mistake the “the past” and “how I want the world to be”.

It’s either that, or arguing with people who think Rez Priest is the most OP deck ever made. I stand by my choices.

Exactly. Right and Wrong are concepts that exist to promote civilized cultures.
Wow. I really miss being a smoker right now.

I respect your decision.

Huh. Okay. Now you also randomly write nice post when drunk.

Whatever you having I want it.

On a serious note,

Yes.

Working in a corporate isnt simple. Many good father i saw in my team. But when they deviate from what the corp goal, they simply removed from the team. Im myself also a father, so the root are quite deep already. Its not easy to do what boss said, the targets, key planning, damage control, or taking anything the boss said to me. I often said to myself “Im being paid, Im being paid, Im being paid” or look at my daughter picture in my wallet.

Having work done as my liking is a luxury. Im even saw my boss getting some flak from the area director. Not that easy for him either.

Do something to change it? Just uproot? Quit my job? Go to other country? Man, i wish its that simple.

I still do not fully understand how you misinterpreted what I said.
Someone who struggles to survive cannot be blamed anywhere as much for stealing to ensure their own survival than someone who does it for greed.
I hate corporatists. Not the individual.

OK so first of all i 100% agree with your post.
That said though i dont understand why the game receives so much criticism this time of the year…

  1. New class? Added. Yes there are lot of balance issues with it (and lets be honest those who have played even a bit of card games knew they were gonna exist in first place) but still its not like the other classes are not viable.
  2. No duplicate rule for everything really made Hearthstone like 100% cheaper. So Hs s worst feature (its economy) is a lot better now.
  3. Wild seems to be getting more attention
  4. A sweet adventure s on the way

So why so much hate this time of the year… i dont get it
