After doing some of the xp quests in standard to get xavius in the reward track i returned to wild only to find a desolate scene: imbue mage dominating the format a deck that make the armor dh look like a walk in the park, otk everyone, reckless aprentice doing insane amount of damage with sing along buddy and brann, that even seemed bugged for me…
Im shocked that wild players arent talking about imbue mage, i was expecting at least 1 crypost from silentstorm but seems that the guy only hates the decks i like…
There was even a moment when i almost put that neutral minion 2/5 with a fancy haircut that deactivates the hero’s powers in the deck,
but i left it there…

It’s an issue Zeddy and other people on Reddit brought up. I faced it a few times with my meme deck and beat it once. I imagine it will go unchecked like this for about a year as most broken wild things do.

I think this deck is crossing the line just like quest warlock did with healthstone and will have to be fixed soon, but I could be wrong and they instead buff it to promote it in standard,
Not even the grizzled wizard/ sir finley mrrglton combo works because if you are a mage with warrior hero power, but you play an imbue card it gives you back the effect of shooting and summoning wisps. I think that would be a way to nerf it without changing anything.
That imbue cards recognize your current hero power, and gives you the corresponding imbued power, that also opens the door to other cool combinations with the imbue mechanic…

I noticed that the deck folds to an armor build and also the infinite Draenei taunt combo. However, if they draw really well, which they normally do, even armor can’t save you. It’s extremely hard to survive back to back apprentice combos.
What’s the fix if they decide to fix it? I don’t even know. It’s not the Imbue. It’s the buddy and apprentice combo. And you can’t play minions because that makes it worse.

Its not broken in wild at all, it wins around 8 mana+, which is pretty slow for wild
