A "bug" concerning the 4. History’s Mysteries puzzle

The last puzzle has just been discovered. It is a deck code which starts a puzzle in Wild.

The deck code:

AAEBAdT8BSiTB/kOjhDSEZAVt2z5rALDtAL2vwLdwgKD1AKM7wKTgAPRiQPEmAOhqQOFsQO6tgOTzQPq4QOR5APy6QOo7wPL+QOmgQSvjgS7rASStQS7zgSX7wSi7wSfpAX9xAWp5QWt6QXa+gXRnAaSngaeogbmqQYAAAEDhM4C/cQF97gD/cQF1JUG/cQFAAA=

However I have encountered a problem with this.

I copied the deck code into my collection and it just refused to trigger the puzzle. It just started a normal game in Wild.

I suspected that the cards which are present in several sets are the problem and I was right.

This card here caused the issue:

Common · Minion · Core · Rush Divine Shield Elusive

You HAVE to use the version from the “Descent of Dragons” set. If you use the core version of this card then the puzzle refuses to trigger.

Good luck everyone!

can happen with other cards too … usually core replace expansion card , and also Cavern of Time cards can replace old expansion ones.

Deck importer is a little smart and tries to automatic replace cards , obviously for this type of puzzles the correct expansion version is required.

The solution to the 4th puzzle has been found and was posted.

In short: the minions and their stats on the board are completely irrelevant. The only thing that matters are the minions in the puzzle deck, their stats and the release time of the expansions.

"From Zulukiwi’s pinned comment in the discord:

Solution to Long Strange Trip:

Trade the minions on the board 43 times, as indicated below. The first number is the position on your side, 2nd number is the position on the opponent side (both starting from the left side).

So for example, 2-5 means you attack with your 2nd-from-left minion into opponent’s 5th-from-left minion

2-5, 4-4, 1-4, 6-4, 3-5

1-1, 3-3, 3-2, 6-5, 2-1

3-2, 3-2, 3-4, 3-4, 3-5

2-3, 2-2, 5-3, 3-3, 3-1

4-4, 4-4, 1-4, 3-4, 3-2

1-3, 2-3, 4-2, 4-5, 1-3

3-3, 3-4, 3-4, 2-4, 3-3

4-4, 4-4, 4-3, 4-4, 7-4

6-6, 2-1, 5-5

Each time you do 5 correctly in a row, you’ll get a fireworks animation as confirmation.

These numbers correspond to the stats of the minions in the decklist in chronological expansion order."
