80% of all my matches are against paladins

With good reason. Paladin is the most pampered class in hearthstone, with druid a close second.

dont bother with him, he’s just another blizzard/paladin defender, he will come up with 1000 reasons why murloc paladins should be your opponent.

That’s more fun than players who just wanna gogogo end games at turn 4 and go to next match. I could live for a million years and i will never understand the mentally of aggro players, they dont care about the class they face, they don’t care about what cards you play, they care about nothing but going face and ending the match asap, and do it all over again forever. I don’t even think they care if they play vs bots or humans.

Yeah. Just played against pally in Standard for the pack quest. They don’t need even more good cards.
The favoritism is off the charts in this game.
They don’t even pretend anymore.

Alright well I know you are ultimately just here to complain, but if you seriously want to cut your way out of paladin league, just pick up any good control deck and start beating them up.

Blood DK, Starship Demonhunter, and Protoss Mage are all excellent options.

I wish I could play against Paladin. My recent matchups are mostly Blood DK, Quest Lock, and Protos Priest. I hate Priest from the bottom of my heart. And DK is almost up there.

Well of course protoss/wilted priest and blood dk is happening more right now, look at this week’s event quest

No, it means exactly that they can’t beat this deck, because this deck can be seen too often at very low mmr only.

It was so long ago that I can’t remember.

Take into account that I was answering to the person who also wrote that people think too long about their moves. And he or she wrote about it more than once.
Meanwhile I root for the turns in this game to last longer.

Do you mean Quest Warlock, Quest Warlock, again Quest Warlock and maybe Egg Warlock?

Platinum is not an mmr. Also you’re claiming to see all paladins. Not that you saw one paladin lmao yikes

You can have positive winrate against those pallies by playing any other free ladder ready decks.
And as long as you beat them, you 'll less likely to see them anymore.

Ah yes the class that has a 40%wr in high mmr’s and blizzard is to blame for the woes of the community seeing so many paladin decks.

Paladin decks largely are easy to pilot so they are really good for new players or very low skilled players. That’s the reason you see a lot of them in low mmr.

Research some and play a deck that does decently against both meta Paladins and you’ll be fine. You don’t need to take your frustrations out on people who just communicate facts and logic.

What’s funny yesterday I redid my mage deck to include lots of AOE and haven’t fought another Paladin since… seems very odd to say the least. My ranks/mmr hasn’t changed much either you tell me.

Before this I fought them pretty much almost every game or every other game beside egg lock.

yet another trait they stole from mage and gave to pally…

It 's basically a board based (and board buff) deck, i don’t see any relevance between it and mage in general.

I only meant that when I started this game, many moons ago, all of the really good players here: (well, the old forums) told me to play mage because it was the easiest to start with and win.
As I am a creature of habit, I stayed with mage when Standard was created and beyond. The simple curve deck days of mage are now long gone and pally gets the: "just play on curve and win " decks, I guess.
But, oh well. Pally was and is one of the top classes in HS, so I guess it tracks. The cards this expansion look really good for it to me.
What I am trying to say is that the play percentage that lower ranked players face will not go down, at least, I don’t think.

There are a whole lot of warlocks out there. Whole lot of blood dks too

Pally was always easy to pilot not sure what you’re talking about. Mage got a bit more complex when discover came out.

Pally used to be my passive/aggressive nightmare, lol.
It was the one deck that beat my tempo mage consistently, but it was also my favorite matchup, because when I would win, I felt like I had earned it, lol.

Wrong, they are not exaggerating. They might actually be lenient with 80%. I have spent the last week and a half climbing to plat 5 and it’s been about 90% paladins and 90% of those paladins are murloc paladins. To all murloc paladins rn: Like, I get it, I was abused too as a child, but that’s still no excuse for playing murloc paladin. I am sure someone hurt you real bad at some point but chill homie.
