60 to 70% of my games are against AI players usually token death nights. They are smarter than normal, but still make obvious mistakes and play styles are identical between player names.
Anyone else?

It sound weird but it’s a bit normal. Blizz put those bots in to gather info about your skill to match you to people on the same level. I’ve gone thru the same phase as well.
Just keep pushing and eventually you don’t see bots anymore.
No, I think those are player bots. You can tell by looking to see if they show up in the recent players list or not.
This is been going on for weeks unfortunately in platinum rank
I don’t understand the point of anyone using bots in this game. What are they gaining?
Players don’t gain anything from it. Blizzard does. If I had to queue up and wait more than 1 minute to find a match, I wouldn’t play this game. The bots are there to keep whatever players they have left engaged
I get it but I’m also sick and tired of facing scripts where my opponent seems to get exactly what he needs every single turn. A human player does not get that benefit
For actiblizz, it’s to hide how their repeated poor decisions have driven people from the game.
For others, apparently bot farming has some monetary advantages. There’s been some threads about it.
Also, this. Unless the system is favoring you.
Gold. Lots of it.
The accounts accrue gold for a while, then are sold on various websites to asians that in turn, use the gold to buy arena tickets, in order to build god tier decks, and steam it to their viewers.
So just beat them and raise your MMR and you will eventually see little or none of them.
There’s two types of bots one players use to farm gold and the ones blizzard use as simulated intelligence in order to prop the game up with the deception of active players. The game has a very small player, and I would not doubt was using AI to make the game not feel like a Ghost Town and have 10 min ques.
My question is… why can’t you get out of those ranks ?
It should be an easy task, unless the bots are better than you are.
hearthstone is not only manipulated by AI who decide before the match who should win or lose but it is also populated by millions of bots, I know dozens of players who have PCs with bots active night and day even with multi-accounts, I must say that I understand them it’s a human reaction to a manipulated game where the players’ skills are nil and the rng favors those who continually give money to blizzard
Again, where’s the rank above legend, then? Because bots are all the way up there.
Definitely run into these all throughout the ladder, everywhere from gold, diamond to top 1k
I’ve been legend multiple times and have played the game since beta. This point in my life, I just like crafting fun decks and blowing off steam at the end of the day and on holidays the legend grind no longer appeals to me.
This isn’t a good justification.
You’re telling me that a guy who’s been Legend multiple times and played since beta can’t get out of the bot ranks even with chill decks and not playing very much ?
There’s no reason for someone to be stuck in those ranks, especially NOT for a veteran. If you were a new player, sure. But this is far from the case.
Like seriously, I can get out of the bot ranks with 100% win rate from bronze 10 no bonus stars with my eyes closed and hands tied behind my back.
So you are either lying or just playing 1 game a week or something.
So they are saying that in Legend 70%+ are bots? I keep seeing these wild numbers thrown out about the percentage of their opponents are bots. Are they seriously seeing 70% bots in Legend? I’ve played in the Legend ranks for years and at one time i actively played into top 1500-1000 and i cannot recalling seeing bots everywhere. Is it the end of the world to be in Legend and see one every now and then?
Maybe this discussion should be brought into line of what format they are playing in that they see this many bots? I play in standard so my experience with them is from standard. If we are talking about Arena that’s just barcode decks not bots but it’s a pretty horrible experience. If it’s the other modes lets make sure we are all on the same page with experiences.
“Using steroids is fine as long as you dont win”
That is effectively what you are saying. Cheating is cheating regardless of whether or not you win. Dont support cheating, instead call it out!
What cheating are we talking about now? Are we discussing Blizzard or Player Bots? The lines have become so blurred in this conversation it’s hard to tell who is against what.
Using unauthorised 3rd party programs to automate game play is against the EULA, therefor, is cheating.
