4 Mana minion so itās easily abusable with Sonya and it creates 1 cost spells that could deal 6 damage (or 12 with Sonya)
Itās weird to me that Sonya hasnāt been hit with a nerf yet. Rogue hasnāt really been a huge issue, but everything rogue does seem to revolve around absurd Sonya plays, she was even the reason lamplighter was so complained about because even warriors couldnāt out armor that.
It is a 7 card combo that requires 3 legendary. He isnāt being serious. Or, I hope he is not.
See but by nerfing concierge to 4 you now have a chance to play customs enforcer on 3 to counter the previously turn 3 otkā¦ which makes it balanced. It was your fault for not having it in hand/deck.
Also, when it comes to druid shenanigans, you have to stress how much mana he had, not what turn it happened
Turn 4 does sound more dramatic, but if the Druid had 6 mana then, itās a wonder you survived to turn 4
Turn 4 is dramatic no matter what. If a deck can ramp to 6 mana on turn 4 and combo kill you at the same time that is even worse than just a turn 4 combo.

I didnāt lose at all. I am playing the deck. It is a dumb thing that shouldnāt exist.
I havenāt seen a single OTK druid since the patch in top 1k (from 320 to 1k)
A lot of druids, but mostly tempo + a few odd Reno Druids
I got to 224 and stopped caring, as I always do. I am surprised to see a ton of Horizon DK. They just fold in half to OTK. They are too midrange.
Iāve seen 1-2, but most DK-s now are Rainbow/spell school ones with Reno
Iām wondering how the data will eventually settle on this.
The OTK isnāt noticeably any weaker with the concierge change, but thereās usually an abandonment of decks when they take a nerf, no matter how small.
Question is more if it bounces back over the next few weeks.
Actually, Chia drake nerf is more detrimental to the deck
You use it to draw a spell, but the tempo loss is huge now, it makes the previously game-deciding Nestmatron + Chia Drake combo a lot weaker
Those two in combination, I believe it makes the deck pilots feel like thatās not it anymore
The deck was already playing defensively until the combo is drawn, now, itās even more so defensive
Yeah, I had said that in the nerf thread that itās weird that the dragon nerf was going to be more impactful than the concierge one.
The 3/5 chia drake was a lot of what allowed that deck to feel aggressive while it was gathering combo pieces.
Priest with a lot of luck from Parrot Sanctuary, Pip, Incindius, Tidepool Pupil, Nightshade Tea and Thirsty Drifter can do it (I know because I have)
Concierge + Dragon Druid are about half of the ladder in diamond rn, both decks still feel like top of the meta alongside paladin (which didnāt get a single nerf)
And even if concierge was nerfed theres still 16 damage gem tosser and the rest of the crap druid has. Why is druid always getting away with infinite everything bs?
There isnāt many decks that are fun to play against in this meta. Actually none really. The ones that have no chance to even play any of your cards is a complete joke and will kill hearthstone starting by every loyal o.g players they have left followed by not being able to draw in new players because of the overpriced card packs the greedy devs put out. Imagine trying to catch up to all the expansions they have then to also have to keep up with 3 expansions per year PLUS the mini sets. Itās corporate greed and the game is dying. Enjoy another 3 weeks of zilliax and Druids. Itās not fun and not worth MY time at least I dunno about yours. Garbage directions the teen bopper devs are taking
