Patch 32.2 is live with Battlegrounds Season 10: Second Nature!

Below are a few of the bugs we’re tracking in this patch.

Note: we’ve locked the previous thread (32.0 Known Issues) soon to keep these lists & reports easier to read and to monitor.

Highlights & Info
  • :round_pushpin: [Battlegrounds] We’re investigating reports of game performance in Battlegrounds (latency, crashes, disconnects - especially in late game). [UPDATE] We’ve deployed a series of hotfixes to address some of the issues reported, and we’re closely monitoring the situation.
  • :round_pushpin: [RESOLVED - Arena] Mini-set cards should now appear in all new drafts. [UPDATE] We’ll be granting one Arena Ticket to each player that did at least one Arena run prior to the fix. The Arena Ticket will be added automatically to all eligible players. We’ll update this note once the distribution is completed.
  • [Battlegrounds] Guff is temporarily banned.
  • [Battlegrounds] Apprentice of Sefin is temporarily banned.
  • [REMINDER] The mini-set Embers of the World Tree will launch on May 13th.

Tracked Issues
  • :new: [Battlegrounds] Felemental Portrait does not trigger its effect if Felemental dies after being Reborn.
  • :new: [Battlegrounds] Holo Rover and Scavenge for Parts can offer Drakkari Enchanter when Drakkari Portrait is active.
  • :new: [Mobile] Graphic issues/artifacts appearing on Pixel devices
  • :new: [Mobile] Download bar is showing 0/0 MB after updating the game.
  • [Battlegrounds] [Tokens] Golden minions are not being counted as part of your most common type
  • [Hearthstone] Aspect’s Embrace doesn’t draw a card
  • [Battlegrounds] The delay before combat starts (after minions have spawned in) has increased by a few seconds since patch launch.
  • [Wild] Ursol’s Aura works improperly when Drakkari Enchanter is on board.
  • [Hearthstone] Sometimes, Cliff Dive can destroy minions from deck.
  • [Hearthstone] Cliff Dive can return a dead minion back to deck.
  • [Hearthstone] Corpse Explosion can end prematurely.
  • [Hearthstone] Everburning Phoenix is missing Beast type tag.
  • [Battlegrounds] It is possible to be offered the same Greater Trinket twice.
  • [Battlegrounds] Your hero can disappear from its portrait (visual bug).
  • [Battlegrounds] Weebomination (Patchwerk’s buddy) Does not give any stats.
  • [Battlegrounds] Token of the Old Gods consumes effect of Tauren Spiritwalker but only casts once.
  • [Battlegrounds] Ornate clock sometimes shows the greater trinket next to it.
  • [Battlegrounds] Reborn effect is not always removable via Sin’dorei Straight Shot effect.
  • [Battlegrounds] Advanced Construction and Fortified Bunker Upgrade Spells consumes effect of Tauren Spiritwalker but only casts once.
  • [Battlegrounds] Electron, Powered Up does not trigger when the Choose One Spell is cast multiple times via the effect of the Tauren Spiritwalker.
  • [Battlegrounds] Lavish Cape effect does not trigger Fire-forged Evoker.
  • [Battlegrounds] Repeat triggering of Dagwik Stickytoe (Eudora’s buddy) can crash the game.
  • [Mobile] Android - Game display pink image on front of Solo Adventures Challenges screen.
  • [Mobile] iOS - The game crashes upon purchasing card packs with gold in the Shop.

Resolved Issues
  • A list of issues resolved with 32.2 is available here.
  • [Hearthstone] Normal Into the Emerald Dream packs & Tavern Tickets are back in the shop.
  • [Hearthstone] Sigil of Cinder, a mini-set card, was incorrectly made an Epic instead of a Common; we’ve decided we won’t fix this bug and will leave the card as it is.
  • [Arena] Mini-set cards should now appear in new drafts. Runs already started prior to this fix will not include new cards.

Shop has been closed for me since the update, EUW

On 5th game the game started, but laggy.
On the previous four games:

  1. The game search enters “preparing game” phase (cancel search button disappears)
  2. Game crashes for one of teammates
  3. Other is able to see hero selections
  4. First player is unable to reconnect
  5. Player in game, after clicking on hero, gets “You are disconnected” message and, after 2-3 seconds, game crashes with “Oops!”

If there are logs I can share – tell me.

Are you on PC or mobile, SteijnSteigr?

I am currently on pc, havent tried mobile

Twisted Webweaver doesn’t proc as intented playing the same minion a second to N times (another copy of a minion, not replayed)

Update: Game is constantly reconnecting. Sometimes without being able to reconnect properly (stuck on “resuming” screen). Skipped 2 or 3 turns because of that. While still destroying one team because they got disconnected too.

My arena buttons are greyed out when starting my second arena run after the update. Any known solutions to this?

I play on PC, tried relogging and restarting pc, but this didn’t work

Why didn’t you fix Whizbang Quickdraw? It’s known and so easy. At least give us a full dust refund.

This one, it’s a known issue:

They fixed it by removing Flint and replaced it with Astalor
I assume fixing would have required re-engineering the way card pools interact between standard and wild which would have lead to even more issues on top of being a higher cost solution

I’m posting a second reply for something else as I think it deserves its own spot :
It’s now impossible to purchase normal cards packs from the Emerald Dream, the option isn’t in the game anymore. Only Golden packs are visible in the shop
Normal packs remain visible on the website but it’s not a workaround since you can’t spend gold in here

Well, the card would first query whether the player is playing wild or standard, then get the card pool from whatever mode is being played. But they could’ve just replace that query with a fixed variable (wild = 1), and therefore just get access to all quickdraw cards as it should.

Which is still reengineering the entire card generation mechanic
Because if they do it for Flint and quickdraw they’ll have to do it for any other discover mechanic, which is a gigantic impact only for the sake of one card (the card being Whizbang, not Flint), 1/11th of the games, not all those games
Replacing Flint with Astalor is a decent compromise that cuts costs and risks
