🆕 32.0.3 Patch Notes

God no Quilboar are in a terrible spot.

Warrior and Paladin? what world are you living in?

Warrior has one deck that got nerfed here, and Paladin doesn’t have a deck.

I am living in this world. Faced both the most today and lost every time. It’s all Taunt minions that spawn other taunt minions when you kill them. Very frustrating.

they have the imbue deck that was “ok” now without the demon hunter oneshot it can shine a bit more (i used it on last season on legend 1200s)

what minions you mean? the emerald drakes? they go to the deck.

cool changes.
but imbue druid and colossus are now a problem because they sale too fast and cannot be beat later

i havent lost to a druid in 3 days sir, they only drop vanillas which can be beaten with spells and janky stuff

but the collosus can be a problem if you dont run dirty rats

Protoss mage eats dragon warrior deck, both are more late game wincon and mage can cut through with Colossus if it doesn’t get eaten.

Not to anywhere near the same extent, however. Options to generate more than 2 copies of the Felbat are pretty limited. And the Felbat can now rez two cards in the Armor DH deck. 3 if they’ve launched a starship.

The Felhunter is now… pretty much useless in that deck, as it no longer will serve it’s intended purpose of rezzing 2 copies of ADC every time it dies.

You can bet on any DH having access to 4 copies of ADC, if they commit both of their Return Policy cards to duping ADC instead of something else. Perhaps more if they manage to play around the Carnivorous Cube. But that card adds value very slowly, and only if the enemy doesn’t find a way to take it off the board the very next turn.

I’d be happy if they just provided something more than a third rate game that crashes if you:

  1. tab out to another app
  2. pass between access points for a split second interruption
  3. play 2-3 games (on ANY platform)

I don’t like the Hideous Husk nerf.

DH might not be as broken as before but it can still generate a lot of ADCs. I just played one of them in casual. The only way to defeat it was with silence. The problem is the cube imo. If you can’t remove it the turn after it’s played, you’re screwed, unless you have a control deck with mega end game value.

It was a very powerful six drop. Additionally, not only did it clear minions on the turn it was played, if you don’t have rush or charge to clear at least the leeches you’re going to lose the minions you tried to play as a counter.

Three damage per leech or “six total” each turn before you can react is very difficult to deal with. Considering all the other cards that death knight has available.

If I’m not mistaken, that card is something you would even keep in your Mulligan based on statistics. Which is generally a problem if a six drop is going to be better than any four or lower cost card. This was the same issue with Chrono Boost and generally speaking Artanis.

If you want an empowered leech effect, it would be better to have a five mana 5/5 with battlecry “Leeches do +1 damage this game.” If you wanted that minion and to still keep the husk, you would just lower the stats on the husk to 3/3.

Turned out I was very, very wrong. The changes have made things immeasurably worse. :joy:

I do not envy the task of balance keeping, that’s for sure.

You can say that again. Sure Armor DH isnt a problem anymore, but now its nothing but Protoss Mage everywhere. And you cant even count on Dirty Rat to have a chance to win because most of them run the full imbue package.

Also lets not forget about Zerg/Egg Hunter. The deck that just runs everything down unless you clear their board every turn. The last game I played against it, I got lucky and had all but 2 board clears. Double Hot Coals, double Holy Nova, and Double Moonwell (used against 1/1 zerglings mind you).

This meta needs many changes, and you’re right, I dont envy the balance team.

That being said, I think 2 changes would make a world of difference. Give the Protoss Colossus the Denathrius treatment or make it only fire once, and give the Hunter Imbue hero power the Nexus Prince treatment, and that it can only affect a minion once. As a side upgrade for it, it should be allowed to hit any minion, not just Beasts.

The reason I didnt target anything in Egg hunter is because the deck folds to taunts and removal. It’s annoying but no where close to broken.

Both versions of Protoss mage has a couple weaknesses, one being lack of taunt, another being they require targetable minions to use their protoss spells on so they can ramp up colussus damage

When they gonna take care of Zarimi Priest??? Turn 7 OTK all day long, it’s ridiculous! Naralex needs a nerf asap!

Still no tools to report and ban AFK / thrower players in Duos.

8-team (16 players) Duos lobbies would also solve the leaver issue.
