Patch 30.0 is here, ahead of the launch of Perils in Paradise!

Here are some of the known issues we’re tracking this patch:

  • [General] The team is investigating reports that playing on fullscreen mode with a Mac Desktop client, and then switching windows, causes freeze. Based on reports so far, it appears this issue is avoided if you play on windowed mode.
  • [General] The team is investigating reports of some players being prompted to repeatedly download an update each time they open the client. In the meantime, it appears that a full reinstall should resolve the issue.
  • [Resolved] [Shop] The team is investigating shop closures for players on the Europe server.
  • [Resolved] [Shop] Restored access to in-game gold purchases for users in some regions.
  • [Resolved] [Hearthstone] Trinket Artist is incorrectly not drawing Aura cards.
  • [Resolved] [Twist] Perils in Paradise cards can unintentionally be generated and discovered in Twist.
  • [Resolved] [Twist] Omu, Halveria, and Kael’Thas have been temporarily removed from Twist due to a bug.
  • [Added July 18th] [Hearthstone] Crane Game is incorrectly tagged as a Shadow spell. This will be removed in a future patch.
  • [Added July 18th] [Hearthstone] Corpse Bride’s textbox incorrectly omits that the Risen Groom has Taunt.
  • [Added July 22nd] [Hearthstone] Sensory Deprivation does not trigger its additional effect if the player’s combined Health and Armor equal 20 or more.
  • [Added July 23rd] [Hearthstone] Scrapbooking Student can cause locations to become unresponsive on mobile devices.
  • [Added July 26th] [Hearthstone] Mixologist’s Special will not gain Lifesteal from Lifeguard.
  • [Added July 26th] [Hearthstone] The team is investigating reports that the 6th level of the “Great Victory” achievement cannot be claimed.
  • [Added July 26th] [Arena] The team is investigating reports that Cho’Gall, Twilight Chieftain does not generate anomalies in Arena.
  • [Added August 1st] [Progression] The team is investigating reports that some players got Demolition Renovator as part of their end-of-season rewards.
  • [Updated August 13] [Progression] Some players were not able to claim the free Golden Perils in Paradise Pack grant last week. We pushed an update that resolved the problem granting the pack, but found a new issue when those players tried to open the pack. We’ve rolled back that fix so that we can fix both issues at once–that means a small number of affected players might have briefly seen the Golden Pack appear in their collection and then disappear–they will still get the pack, and be able to open it, once this issue is fully resolved. As we are still working to resolve the issue, we are postponing the next free grant and will update again once we have a resolution.
  • [Added 8/13] [Progression] Players who previously bought Golden Harth have now had 1000 Runestones added to their account to make up for the free grant.
  • [Added August 8] [Hearthstone] Zilliax combinations with the same functional modules but different cosmetic module are being treated like different cards. The team is contacting Whizbang about a software update.

Battlegrounds Pool Updates:

  • Queen Azshara and Aranna Starseeker have been temporarily removed from the Duos Hero Pool due to a bug causing crashes.
  • Alexstrasza, Queen Azshara, Millhouse Manastorm, and Cap’n Hoggarr have been temporarily removed from the Hero Pool for balance reasons.
  • Madam Goya and Sylvanas Windrunner have been temporarily removed from the Duos Hero Pool for balance reasons.
  • Vol’jin has been temporarily removed from the Hero Pool until Patch 30.2.

Mac is also crashing when switching windows in window mode
I played less than half of what I’m used to this month so far because of this
Impossible to play

What about “SHOPS CLOSED” fix for the US server mobile users?? It’s 11 PATCHES IN AND WE HAVEN’T EVEN BEEN MENTIONED!!! PLEASE HELP!!?

When you start the game sometimes the innkepper greets you with english dialogue in the german version. That dialogue is clearly from the new expansion but it is spoken in english.

Something like: “Welcome to paradise. It is time to unwind.”

I switched to low framerate mode and that stopped the Mac crashes for me so maybe try that. Crazy how long this has been going on without a fix.

I dunno what they’ve done, but the shop has suddenly opened for me, having been closed since the launch of 29.6 (playing on EU server only).

Newer to following along with known issues of this game. How long does it normally take for these known issues to be corrected? I know I’m certainly impacted by this list.

I want to ask, do you guys actually try to play the game on android and ios?
CUZ IF YOU DID YOU WOULD KNOW YOU ARE MAKING IT WORSE WITH EVERY UPDATE.
Keyboard is not in correct position when you start typing.
The chat feature is to slow.
If you disconnect during a game (which happens a lot) you won’t be able to reconnect.
If game times out while reconnecting clicking on the screen that says reconnect never loads back the game and you can only close the application and hope it launches next time.
AND THE INFINITE DOWNLOAD BUG WHICH HAS BEEN AROUND SINCE 3 YEARS AND YOU PRETEND ITS NEW.

Just experienced a bug with the description of Pathes’ companion: it says that your creature gains +1/+1 per every pirate you’ve played this game, yet when you play tier 5 spell that triggers battlecry of your minion it can distribute stats onto minions in the tavern.

Is it so difficult to solve the problem with a closed store???

The Battlegrounds Board bug is still there for months now which causes an exclamation mark even you have only the Default Battleground board favourited. It is just a small silly bug just solve it already.

day 5 no signs of hope hearthstone keeps crashing over and over no matter what i try on windows , every other game literally runs smoothly blizzard please fix this soon.
