Let me progress the achievement in duels. Please.
Played against a warrior a few minutes ago. On his first turn he drew a Glugg (Shaman Card). How is that possible or am i missing something ?
Here is the firestone replay:

Would really love to at least see duels not unlocking hero powers and signature treasures on the list of bugs they’re fixing.
Fangbanger ist right. Whats up here??? WHY this bug in duels is not on the list??? It was posted on April as a bug and nothing happened over 3 months!!! Its a shame and i cant stay cool anymore!!!
Please pay attention to the bug in the duel mode, the new hero skills that need to be unlocked cannot be unlocked at all by doing quests, I really really want to see the new hero including his new hero skills can be used to play, however It’s not clear for what wrong reason these skills are not unlocked for normal use at all now, I’d really like to see them fixed very quickly. After all, it has only been more than a month since they had passed.
First, it’s better to report suspected bugs in a separate thread. They are better visible there than here among the dozens of responses to various issues.
Second, I checked the replay (thanks for the link!) and it is in this case a bug in the firestone tracker. To understand what happens you need to know that each card in the deck has a unique code. So when the opponent draw a card, the server tells the HS client (and the tracker collects this info too) that “opponent draws card #27”. There is no info sent on what that card is, because Blizzard doesn’t want hackers to read this data and use it to snipe their opponent’s hand. But you may sometimes notice that if for instance Sir Finley is used, half the cards in the opponent hand are known and the other half is not. That’s because first it is drawn (card #27, unknown), then shuffled, then drawn again (still the same card #27) and then played. The tracker then uses the information when the card is played to show the card in the replay even when it is first drawn.
That process fails when cards are changed. In this case, the opponent plays The Fires of Zin-Ashari, at the end of turn 7. That’s when card #27 is transformed from whatever it was into a Glugg.
And now, before you protest that Fires only transforms cards that are in the deck, look at the start of turn 7. Here we see the “Glugg” briefly turn into a Heavy Plate, that is then traded.
So the full story is that card #27 (and for the record, I use #27 in this post as a fully made up number, I have no idea what code is actually used for this card) is a Heavy Plate. It is drawn on turn 1, traded on turn 5, then transformed into Glugg, and then later in the game drawn again and played as Glugg.
The deck tracker gets confused because it receives conflicting information about what card is represented by card #27. It is not programmed to fully understand the effect of The Fires of Zin-Ashari. And the result is that it is displayed incorrectly when you look at the replay.
Fix the Duel Format!
I would like to report a very big Y’shaarj related Mercenaries PvP bug.
Lich king (and possibly other freeze effects as well) - don’t trigger on y’shaarj.
Please handle this asap
Bump it blizard please fix duels
I’m seeing issues where you spend Mercenary coins to upgrade a merc ability, and “nothing happens.” When you go back later, your coins for the upgrade are gone, but the upgrade did not occur. Doesn’t appear to be just a UI issue as a relaunch doesn’t fix it.
i got this problem multiple times and also other reported it but using pen and paper i never lost coins , but there can be multiple result.
- on restart you get coins back
- on restart you get ability upgrade
- if you click so much while upgrading in this bug state is possible a different ability is upgrade once or twice.
example1: if you have 150 coins and upgrade ability 1 , but due to the bug coins are not removed , so next you are able to upgrade ability 2 … you expect coins back or ability 2 upgraded , but what rly happened is abilty 1 already used that coins.
example2: if you have 400 coins and want to upgrade abilty 1 once , but click seems to do nothing and you click more times , is possible you upgraded twice but becouse of a bug it show only one upgrade.
They have to fix it for sure to make it more stable , for now is better to trust your clicks and not what client displays.
While doing multiple upgrades is better to go back and forth of the menu , and if after pressing back button all seems slow to load, restart the client.
Everything is so annoyng.
During duels, unlocking new hero powers or hero treasures doesn’t work
bug of mercenary brann second ability summit campfire:
my character cannot trigger the critical damage to enemy whom have already acted. enemy acted between use of brann summit campfire and the act of my other character havn’t considered acted. this is not correct, especially with the second equipment of brann, it makes brann second ability go 0 speed.it cannot be triggered its critical damage anyway in the situation now. it turns out brann get worse when it equips with the adventurer’s pack. this is not the intention of this ability and the equipment.
pls fix it coz this is critical to the gaming of PVP game. thank you.
12’th task of Alextrasza doesn’t work correctly. Sometimes it’s ok, but mostly it doesn’t work.
During Solo Adventures - Dalaran Heist, it seems that the treasure “Call of the Swamp Queen” is not discounted to less than 1 after playing the initial card. Other cards with “Repeatable this turn” (like “Holy Maki Roll” or Witch’s Brew) however, do (other than Echo cards).
(I played with the annomaly that reduces all spell costs by 2.)
I was irritated by this seemingly inconsistent bevaviour.
I want to report a bug in game.
While playing arena in Hearthstone I have used Spammy Arcanist that according to the description should kill all enemy minions but she didn’t.
Enemy had few minions on the board with Bubbler, who according to the description die when is hit with 1dmg and yes Bubbler died but then Spammy Arcanist did not repeated the arcane explosion and other enemy minons left on the battlefield with 1 and 2 points of health. The desctiption is “Deal 1 damage to all other minions. If any die, repeat this.” So Bubbler died and this effect was not repeated, so this is definetely an error.
I lost this arena because of this situation, it should be fixed.
That’s probably because technically Bubbler didn’t die from the damage directly, it died from it’s own effect after receiving the damage. Whether or not that’s intended, I don’t know.
So we’ll have that more lucrative quest back next month. Fine. But what about this month? There’s a loss of 600XP due to the 1500XP Noz quest being skipped and a 900XP quest offered in it’s place. Will we be granted 600XP? Or the “equivalent” 20gold? Or is Blizz just saying, “too bad; get bent.”
It’s also irritating that this Blue comment is written to try to avoid responsibility by using a passive voice (i.e. the special daily did not go out as opposed to we neglected to send out the special daily) and then apparently putting the blame on the fictional character (which is cute, but definitely intended to shift responsibility).
Yeah but it doesn’t matter, Bubbler died so according to the description the Arcane Spammist should pop one more explosion because a minion died.
It just doesn’t work properly.
Yeah but it doesn’t matter, Bubbler died so according to the description the Arcane Spammist should pop one more explosion because a minion died.
If there’s an error, it’s in the card text – though there, I think it’s just a limitation on how much text can be put on a card. The Arcane Spammist effect is actually “Deal 1 damage to all other minions. If any die directly from that damage, repeat this.” (The bold text, of course, is not on the card.)
What that means is, if the damage brings a minion to 0 health or lower, the effect repeats. But if the damage alone doesn’t kill an enemy, but it triggers some other effect that kills it, then the effect doesn’t repeat. So – if a minion has “die after taking damage” (like Jandice Barov’s illusionary minion), it doesn’t die from the 1 damage Spammy does – it dies from its own “die after damage” effect, and Spammy doesn’t repeat.
It’s confusing, but this is in keeping with how other cards behave. If I do exactly one damage to Bubbler, and that one damage kills it, it isn’t an “honorable kill”, even though one damage was exactly enough to kill it. If I do three damage with a poisonous attack, it doesn’t count as “overkill” (even though I did two more damage than I needed to for the kill) unless the target’s health goes negative. And so on.
